I got Don Quixote in my first multi and Ruler Moriarty np2 back to back with my tickets. I'm glad he's joining his old self (also np2) and Sherlock in my Chaldea! ... And it's much better than the fiasco that Charlemagne's banner was for me (that said, Kriemhild np2 is very good compensation).

At this rate, I just need a list of servants you MUST summon and when you DO have them, you won't need to summon another servant in that class ever again. Such as having Castoria, or Spaishtar or Kamavenger or Melusine.

this isnt really doable since better and better stuff will come out as they want new servants to sell. The list should be servants you get so you can be good on your account for a long time but will eventually be swapped.

Well, I did a few summons because the urge hit me (I do like his design and I figured I'd do a few and so I could say I at least tried) and I got him. I guess it's a good thing that I'll most likely get Yui as well seeing as Ushi Gozen was another servant that I plan to get. Now I just need to get through Traum so I can start farming his skill mats.

Yes and no. Having to always apply in on his NP may make it clunky for some challenge quests. Thing is, Astrea excels on single target boss challenge quests whereas he's an AOE NP. He'll work much better with AOE servants with Evil power mod.

@@N120Xeno Just think about it more, if the boss has megahealth or lots of break bars, it may take more than 3 turns to kill them and Mort's NP on applies it for 3 turns. Or, since it is a debuff, suppose you apply it and then the boss uses a skill that remove the debuff before 3 turns. So, you may not be able to transfer Mort to the backline after applying the debuff so you can bring in another support. You'll have to either card with him to get his NP back (robbing someone else of those chances) or give him charge that could otherwise go to your main damage dealer. His NP won't do much damage so you end up wasting charge on him damage-wise. In rare instances, your NP gets drained at start, so if that happens you are in a bigger pickle trying to use him because you will have to waste charge on him that could have gone to your damage dealer. Plus, for many players there is a trade-off between using him or using someone else for support (IF you are only using him for support) in challenge quests since some challenges require survivability skills that can be applied party-wise or debuff removal. Lastly, he can certainly be used on some challenge quests and I'm not saying he's bad. I'm just saying he's probably not going to as good as you think in that role.

​@@figurecollector5796 As someone who slept on him in JP for the longest time, he's honestly not as bad as you think. He's got strong cards and internals, so he can definitely pull his own weight when on a team with Astraea. It is true you'd much rather want another ally to support her than him, but I've found that it's not necessarily the case. Due to how high Astraea's damage gets, it only takes me around 5 or 6 turns to beat a CQ once second wind comes around and everyone had their skills up again. It's just a matter of surviving for 3 or 4 turns, which is easily achievable due to them being Rulers, having survivability skills, & having acces to either a Castoria or Merlin support to stagger their turns for longer. I've also used him & Astraea in multi-core before, particularly for lotto, where he clears a low-damage wave with an event CE + Castoria battery, followed by using his NP again the next turn and Astraea destroying the enemy afterwards. He may not be as impressive of a DPS as Iyo or SMelu, nor as great as a support as Johanna, but just being able to enable one of the strongest servants in the game is already a big advantage to himself.

I found the summer 3 SSR is better than Ruler Moriaty. Berserker Ibuki, Summer Skadi and even Lady Avalon have more use than Moriaty.

I agree. Ruler class is a less useful class for me as well. You just don't have a lot of challenges against Moon Cancer enemies where they can shine. Plus, against neutral enemies they need to be power up with high NP levels or be leveled up highly to do enough damage since you usually have an alternative servant with an affinity advantage.

He's not a bad servant but is perhaps a little too niche to really be useful to an advanced account that already has what it takes to play the Quick meta. On the other hand, it can possibly help a new player as a support budget or to kill assassin class monsters. I also read that he is a very good support for Nemo but that is again a fairly specific situation.
