I love that you showed a San'layn build not a lot people have and feedback on how well it does. I ran it with No Apac sub Abom and scythe and it ran very well too. Seeing this video makes me wanna run San'layn for while. It shame this upcoming patch is only buffing the Blood side of San'layn and make some tweek for deathbringer for forst. No love for UH

Thank you for the support. Yes, i believe apocalypse and magus are better with this build. Abomination is really good in Riders of the Apocalypse because of the horsemen, but i dont think it's that good with san'layn.

This is a good build and you really helped me out. However, I’m having problem in single target. Any suggestions? Just spam Vamp Strike? Should I re apply wounds or just spam vamp strike?

Yeah it's a bit lacking in single target, but weave between death coils and vampstrikes. Spending runic power extends DT, which allows you to get more vampstrikes off.

Aug is a separate issue but I think they have done an okay job with balance with expansion. You can basically play almost anything up to a +10

I definitely feel you on the frost breathe build, that shit is hard to pull off in pugs. Definitely give Unholy a try and see how it feels. It will take practice; I've been a DK main since Cata 👍.

The ST damage is a big turn-off for me as a pug player. Most of the times pugs struggle in bossfights and having a low dps player in bossfights is a pain. Still a nice build and gameplay

i tried it, as much as i like having cds on every pack, st for me leaves much to be desired. funny enough i burst more on sanlayn on big packs than with riders which is nuts.with that being said think im gonna stay with riders.

Yeah, packs aren't usually the problem in pug groups; it's primarily bosses that make or break a key from my experience. I might have a build that i will showcase in the next vid that can up the damage in ST a bit.

@@ColdBobby i experimented a bit and took out apocalypses line along with 1 point to improve festering strike and put reaper along with sudden doom and harbinger of doom so we get more sudden doom procs it does help a bit with st. While giving us a ton of 5% primary stat.But not having apocalypse in aoe i constantly ran out of runes in my dark transformation windows forced me to epidemic more. Feels a bit better despite lack of runes.

Seeing meta mentions in the comments, no such thing as meta anymore imo, get used to it =) The new meta is just players knowing their shit, how it actually is supposed to be. I personally ran all 3 UH builds in keys and i think every each is viable to push a 15 with good team =) with me kinda preferring the festering scythe one. Meanwhile wf 15 was pushed with frost-breath, but not cuz it’s “meta”, he’s outdpsed by a boomie and a rogue, no aug and the team is just flawless. Enjoyed your run, wp! ❤

To make Unholy hype video, obviously. I have a +11 NW timed on my mage where we had more than 4 min to spare and less than 5 mil total party damage. These guys had more than 6.5 mil dps and barely beat the timer. Shows that damage profiles matter and priority damage is key. Unfortunately Unholy lacks in both of these avenues.

Ok, so you may not know how unholy works but epidemic is a proximity based ability that is actually multiplicative. So if there is 5 or more targets around it actually does more priority damage than a ST death coil because of how epidemic works. Also the reason why timer was so close was because of the 11 15sec Deaths and we over pulled by +15%, so in actuality if it weren't for our damage it wouldnt have been possible 👍
