Is SAO FATAL BULLET Worth it in 2023? | Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet Gameplay

If you're looking to try an sao game, there's 3 very different types so far. Those being (By recent release) Lost Song(?)/Accel World Vs SAO - large worlds and dungeons to explore via Riding a bike or flying, dumped with enemies and materials used to for upgrades or accessories to link onto a WIDE VARIETY of characters, all with mostly unique skills and play style. As well as a interesting and thoughtful story. Fatal bullet - Perhaps one of the most successful of SAO games; Filled with fast paced run and gun fun. Plenty of builds, consisting of skills and weapons people can experiment with to take on challenging odds, also has a large expansive story with dlc. Alicization - I personally relate to what Ventus has described with this one, Alicization is kind of a throwback to the older sao games. Basic automatic combat while you control the tactics in a battle like knowing when to use a skill while a boss is stunned per say.

I used to play this non stop when it first came out.bought all the dlcs and everything while they were coming out.was loads of fun and never really got to boring with the pvp. What started killing the fun for me in this game is when you get to a certain bounty in the game your given accesorry's that give 50% humanoid damage reduction as a reward. And with the fact you can transfer stuff between characters you could give yourself another one of those and then in pvp you basically become invincible and cant die when you equip 2. Running into a lot people that were doing this just killed the aspect of the game i kept coming back for.

exactly man it was all good until the devs decided to fuck up the pvp with that 50% humanoid accessory.. istg if they didn’t make that accessory AND banned all the modders/cheaters while cleaning out the leaderboards, people would still play.

I really love Fatal Bullet and I hope that in the future they make other games in the SAO or SA:O or even Alfeihem (probably spelled wrong) where you can create your own character in a way to where you even interact with the story or have an original story like the mobile game SAO Integral Factor.

I was on the fence about trying any SAO games for a long time but finally picked up the complete edition of Fatal Bullet for my switch earlier this year and ever since I have played it more than basically all of my other games. Definitely recommend it if your looking for an SAO game where you live your own personal story on the SAO universe.

if you still have missed out on fatal bullet try it out its one of the better sword art online games im not a fps guy but i had ton of fun with this game. weapons feel good upgrading things is deep and a bit grindy as we all like it, the art is great feels like you are right in the anime, there are hard things for ppl who like a challange, if you are good player you can smash this game, if you are a casual you can just have fun with some aim assist. if someone wanna play on pc hit me up i just reinstalled the game ;)

The fact that sao fatal bullet introduced custom character creation was exactly wat players wanted in sao there own custom oc immersing themselves in the world but nope they threw it all away with alicization, last recollection and fractured daydream to put us back with kirito and friends i dont hate kirito and friends but i dont wanna play them i just wanna be my own character and the devs dont even care to bring back custom oc creation dimps corp made fatal bullet and soon to be released fractured daydream while aquria co made alicization and last recollection

Hi Ventus I remember watching SAO as a Netflix anime, back in 2012, and also fell in love with playing Fatal Bullet as well as Alicization while watching the anime, when the episodes were still releasing. However I own both games, played, and completed each one and loved them to death, but my dilemma comes across not having friends to play it with. I general play on xbox, and have for both SAO games in the past, but have not found anybody to enjoy the game with. I now own a ps5 and is considering getting last recollection on it. What do you recommend?

yeah it’s kind of sad how they are just letting the game fall through the cracks but as long as they keep the server’s running we could potentially make a resurgence of fatal bullet i had a maxed out character on xbox 1 a good few years ago with a whole bunch of friends who played constantly but i lost contact with all my old xbox friends and now i am on ps5 i had to rebuy the full game again with all of the dlcs this time where as before the only dlc i had on xbox was the nexus dlc i was hoping to jump in and find a new group of friends to run it with but so far haven’t had much luck i played with a few randoms but haven’t really found a stable group to run with yet and have just been on the slow level grind cause i don’t have anyone to carry me through the one mission to quick farm exp and max out like i did last time and i wish the devs did more with the game or even possibly made a second game in the near future cause fatal bullet is one of those games that doesn’t really have much direct competition do to just how different and special the game is and could really make a big impact with a second game especially in the current gaming era of battle royal and quick time pvp games we seem to be in currently

I really love the environment and atmosphere of this game. I'm not an anime guy and I had no idea what I was buying tbh, but I'm glad I got it. It reminded me of a game I played as a kid called Shin Megami Online and the art style looked so similar. I wish industrial art styles were more common in games

the art style was a big thing for me too. Hollow series (fragment, realization, alicization, and now recollection) was always second best art style for me and the Lost Song series (Lost song, Accel world, and fatal bullet) was always better. that's not to say that the hollow series animation or art is bad per say there's just something off about it and i cant place what it is even today. content wise the hollow series always felt more like an mmo than a single player game and the lost song series always felt like a single player games set in an mmo. that being said, I liked the feel of being in an mmo in the hollow series but i always enjoyed the fatal bullet style of being more immersed in the game through a single player story perspective. but fatal bullet got really hard to play and enjoy toward the end imo. it became hard to solo things unless you built a certain way and to get the good weapons you basically had to do the online lobby so when the servers finally shut down for FB it will be impossible (unless they change it when servers shut down) to even get those weapons. but here's hoping we get a fatal bullet 2 or even a fatal bullet style game set in the next world after alicization!

there is no Server for Fatal its Peer to Peer connection so basically your own internet is the server and they did it horribly for example AW vs SAO is also Peer to Peer but people who join the lobby dont lag so badly

Ngl SAOFB is cleaner on switch...idk why or how but it just too clean and smooth. AL is clunky and makes me not to play it sometimes. I'm worried that I cant one shot enemies on AL like I did on FB. But all in all I'm only played for Story mode but since I bought the whole thing, I forced myself to play it

Fatal bullet is a easy game (as long as you dont use launchers) to be able to solo everything with no help alot of people sadly get carried and dont learn its mechanics and complain about it being hard

Servers are Peer to Peer connection so there is no server for the game thus online will always be around. I still help people with the game but I rarely play myself. Between all the SAO Games Fragment I find the worse(Basically Lycoris was just this game remade) Lycoris I find the next worse, Lost Song comes next even tho most hate it, Realization is fun (New SAO Game is going off this one which was the best Game before fatal), AW vs SAO I personally liked, and than there is Fatal still the best one dont think LR is gonna change this

SAO:FB is one of the best/worst SAO game, it so fun to play but the game always felt so unfinished so much so i would kill for a full remake to flesh out almost all of it. Like imagine just our hub city being updated to really feel like a city with more npc's going about their gaming, more shops adding a lot of back areas with little mini games.

The aesthetics are very early 2000s mmo vibes. I don't know if I'd call it "cool" since the game was released in 2018 but for what it's worth I'd say I enjoy it up until it's the dungeons (at least in vanilla game) where it's all the same interiors through and through. ngl all dungeons being the same industrial assets is probably what turns me down the most art-wise, considering the pretty low quality textures for everything besides characters as a 'stylistic choice'.

I would tell people to start with Hallow fragment if they want to play alicization lycrosis and last recollection so people can. Understand the video game storyline that going to potentially conclude with last recollection, play hallow fragment, lost song, hallow relazation than fatal bullet than alicization lycrosis, fatal bullet is good if your not going to care about the video game storyline that separate from the anime, after all to learn about characters like strea, phillia, rain, seven, premiere, playing the previous games is important

Though SAO Fatal Bullet is not being serious to weapon designs, it is still a fun game to play, . If you are want to play with different kinds of guns, go play Counter-Strike, Warface, Escape from Tarkov, Call of Duty or Battlefield.

Its ok fatal bullet is the shit. Alicization is a for a different crowd. Not a bad game, but theres just something super rewarding when you slap an enemy with a massive Dorjikiri crt. Its beautiful the dmg.

I think fatal bullet is one of the better ones this and hollow realisation are my 2 favourite I think the alickastion was a bit clunky. FB had very fluid combat and the weapon choices were good I liked a beam sword pistol/ar combo

As someone who's played All of the Sao games (Except the collab between accel world), I can honestly say that fatal bullet is my favorite for two main reasons. 1. The story is your own and your part is complimented by Kirito's part in his story which I think is great. 2. The gameplay is a lot easier to get the hang of compared to some of the other titles (Sao HF and HR which depends on a status called "Risk" as well as the sp consumtion and just a lot more complicated mechanics you have to learn. It makes it a learning curve)
