Pastor Mike, every time I hear you preach it’s as if god is speaking to me through you! And I can’t thank you enough for your preaching! This is the kind of preaching I needed! I will try harder to congregate and not isolate! But it’s hard when I’m disabled live alone and n poverty in a upstairs apt. And I use a mobility device to help me walk! I have a disease that is rare and live in a community that is has limited resources and I cannot walk far n my own! I have no family but my daughter who lives 30 miles away. She has 2 children and a career and husband! I don’t see much of! So it’s hard for me to go out in the world from my home. Plus I have stairs to climb 16 of them. I’m 61 and single! I’m from Portland Oregon and All I can do is just pray for people and I never pray for myself! I only have my one true best friend and Jesus in my life! And this is not a pity message but I am asking for prayers! I pray for California right now over the fires there and the people who lost their homes and lives! Wow, Amen. Praise God for this word. I need more JESUS and less me. The main reason i isolated was because i was drinking and smoking. I felt guilty being around others when i was under the influemce. What i received from this message was to not give in to self pleasure but to become selfless and fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ in the unity of the spirit. By grace i can do all things through Christ who strengthens me to serve to be sober and to be vigilant. Thank you for allowing me to receive this word of wisdom Holy Spirit. Without His Spirit leading me and guiding me into all truth i would be super lost and super narcissistic but Hallelujah to the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world! I didn't always go to church like I should have and I only started reading the Bible more than a verse of the day email. I'm working on staying in The Word, fighting off the enemy as he trys to stop me and shame me. I do feel ashamed alot. The Word of God tells us to not be weary in well doing BUT it also tells us to love our neighbors AS ourselves. Don't neglect yourself while pouring yourself out dry for others. Love your neighbor AS yourself. Jesus ministered to thousands,yet always took time alone with the Father to recharge and replenish. Be wise with your giving. Some people will use your good nature against you, meaning they know that your heart is to serve others and they exploit that for themselves. Be wise with how you give.

If somebody can give me some insight please…. This video is speaking to me, however, I have been praying to find a new church all this year but I stayed because I’m there for God and not the people. Although I love everyone there and I love my church, my pastor said something to me when I shared with her I went on a date with a man of God who serves at his church and her first response was “I will pray him out of your life that means you’re leaving my church to go to his” I don’t how to take things and makes me feel like she only cares about the numbers instead of being happy for me. I don’t want to isolate myself I want to stay connected to a church but idk what to do.
