Okay, I have a couple comments 1 When Bailey is interrogating Sam and Tara, he says that the previous detective gave him the case because it "affected Quinn" but imo it didn't affect Quinn at all (at least not directly) also 2 during the same interrogation when Bailey asks about their friends, they mention Ethan right after Quinn and Bailey only mentions that he can vouch for Quinn. Now I know, he's not supposed to be related to Ethan so it may seem inconsequential but it seems like Ethan is overlooked a LOT by his father. When talking about his kids in the fight scene it seems like if Ethan wasn't there he wouldn't even be mentioned as part of the family. Ethan's reaction to his father's comment of his "first son" I think is very telling. His face seems to fall as if he's wanting to say "But what about me, Dad?" I also think this might be part of the reason he saved Mindy's life after the attack on the train. He wanted to know that he made a difference in a way not connected to what he and his family were doing so he could have an accomplishment that was just about HIM. It was especially significant because of the way she had been treating him

The way at the very beginning, she thought Ghostface was in her house😂 I could not stop laughing, but that is a little creepy, knowing that your lights turned off and you watched scream and then that creepy anyways I love your reactions. Something that is already confirmed is that Neve Campbell (Sidney) and Courteney Cox (Gale) will return for Scream 7. They are in talks with Patrick Dempsey (Mark, the detective from Scream 3 and Sidney's husband in the movie). According to rumors, the new movie will feature a young cast, but the plot will center on Sidney and her family (Sidney, Mark, and their two daughters) due to a cult of Ghostfaces who want to end the family, and filming begins this year in June.

@@seanstrosities I follow a page where they upload official content from Scream and they have posted that so far the cast includes Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox. Patrick Dempsey has not yet been confirmed as they are still in negotiations. However, they say he will be in the project since he will not appear in the movie he was going to shoot because of Scream "rumors". Additionally, I read in other sources and pages that they are considering having one of Sidney's daughters be Alisha Weir, due to her potential, which she demonstrated in Matilda and now in the horror movie Abigail, as well as Keri Russell, though I am not sure what her role would be, but she is undoubtedly a well-established actress from the 90s."

Truth lol. Although I have to say, I’m conflicted on whether I want to watch it or not. Yeah Sid is the OG & I’ve been wanting her back, but they made a story to write her out that kinda fit the situation. They eased Sid out in 5 & gave a story for her exit in 6. Ofc I didn’t like it, but I came to terms that it made some sense for the new storyline that would happen. I can’t even imagine how they would begin to just remove Sam or have the plot even remotely make sense. They really did her character dirty & did everyone who’ve supported this franchise even worse. First with Neve & now with Melissa.

Can tell most of u are the new younger generation of scream fans saying ur not gonna support 7. 7 is bringing back the original. Yes im gutted they we arent getting the trilogy that we was suppose to get (amd its shit what happened with melissa), but 6 ended perfectly for me with melissa dropping the mask. Williamson, cox, dempsey and of course the original star campbell is back. This 1 should be and a vry big possibility being the best sequel yet. They can come back to the core 4 story later down the line. Imo of course. Massive scream fan since 96'😉

I really hope that they make a great Scream 7. I still hate the studio for firing Melissa, but I love Scream. They put us in this situation, and yeah I think Scream fans are powerful enough to give the studio a lesson, but then we won't get any Scream at all, they got us until they sell the property, and that won't happen any time soon. So, I will go watch Scream 7 in theater, and I'll be super excited if Melissa ever comes back in the future.

I think it will be just fine. The casual fans aren’t going to care and the long time fans are excited. That doesn’t include the ppl who didn’t know but will see the promotion and get interested as well as the ppl who currently say they WONT but inevitably will. What happened to Melisa sucks but there are so many other good cast and crew attached that don’t deserve to be punished for something they had nothing to do with.

I love 6 and probably my favorite sequel and I love seeing more Jenna Ortega and Chad's so freaking great. He's the heart and glue of The Core Four and him and Tara are so cute together. I won't see 7 in theaters BUT Jamie Kennedy (Randy Meeks) stated that he believes The Core Four will return in the future and I believe so too. Jenna is a hot draw right now and Melissa's getting hotter than she was. If you haven't seen the Scream TV Show? Then you MUST watch it.

Not going to get into Malissa's fiering here because honostly I am on both sides so it's complexed,though I do think they shouldn't have fiered her out of the blue and given her time to explian herself fully. Any way that being said 7 is said to have Sydney coming back and I would assume Gale will be too but again I worry that with them back and no Sam or Tara the movie will slip back into old habits and we will get a repeate of the first movie in a way and that fact worries more than anything and yes it's not exactly the same because Sydney has her husband Mark and their kids so she has a family and that will change things but still I worry. Don't worry about Malissa she is doing fine and has a new movie that is coming out or maybe it's out already a horror movie called Abigail so she is doing just fine. I was glad to have Kirby back though they hinted that would be the case in the 5th one but never mind, any way she was honostly the only part about Scream 4 that I liked and yes I know it was Wes's last movie he ever did and that is why it pains me to say it. I love this movie and to me it's one of my favorite ones in the Francise and yes I kmow it copies the second one in a way but who cares it's still a really done well story. I knew it was the cop and Ethan but Quinn susprised me mostly because I didn't expect that actress to play a part like that but now looking back on it I should have seen that coming. The motive I guessed already from the beginning of the movie I just wasn't sure if it would be someone from Richi's family or Amber's but then they had the 'Richi' call and that confirmed which one the family member/members would be apart of. I do like the direction that the two directors were going in and I like that they upped the gore as well cause honostly that is what slashers in this day and age are expected to have. Between this one and 5 it's this one all the way and glad you liked it too.

I’m going to be honest. I’m a little disappointed hearing and seeing you’re possibly not gonna watch seven. I just discovered these reactions and I hate it when people get this far into a franchise only to decide not to watch the next one. It seems like you really enjoyed the original characters and storylines that went on for four films and over 15 years before Melissa Barrera popped on the scene only two years ago. Don’t get me wrong. I loved Melissa‘s story in these last two films and I was in fact looking forward to seeing a third one but scream isn’t Melissa‘s story. Neve is the one who started this franchise in 1996 with Kevin Williamson, and the fact that she’s returning as the main star, and Kevin is returning to direct the franchise he wrote in the first place is why any person that enjoyed the first four screams should be returning to watch the seventh one. We don’t have to agree with why Melissa exited the franchise but it’s a lot more complicated also than a lot of people seem to want to get into. It’s not just the opinions that she had. It was the way that she kind of expressed them in a couple of her stories and I don’t want to get too into it here, but she wouldn’t even be fired if the only thing she said was free Palestine and I’m just gonna leave it at that. I really hope you change your mind and you do wind up watching scream seven.
