Love this movie and the whole cast. Very re-watchable. I saw this DVD on the shelf of my local library and only initially checked it out because I recognized Emma Watson on the cover and had never seen her in anything outside of Harry Potter. Easily one of my favorite movies and I'm very happy that I saw it that day. The DVD commentary is also special. Enjoyed your reaction. Peace!

Hey everyone! So as you can see, this is part 1 of a 2-part video. As some of you know, I was suffering from a deep depressive episode this past month or so after my move. Coming out of it, I realized one of the things contributing to my negative state was the workload I had been putting on myself with these season binge-watch videos (along with other works on Patreon [two exclusives per week] and in my personal work life). As a result, this video is split into two parts and the remaining seasons of Love, Victor and Chucky will resume being split videos with two episodes per video. I realize why so many reactors only do a season binge-watch video every blue moon or so - it does take a mental toll when you are your only editor and you also have other commitments outside of Patreon/KZbin. I want to thank all of you who are still here for your patience while I worked out these issues in my workflow and recovered from my depressive episode. It means a lot. I hope you enjoy the video and I'll see you soon for part 2! Also, if you want to see the FULL season reaction - that is already up on my Patreon. If you're interested!

Thank you so much for taking the time to talk about the aro/ace sexuality. There was no mention of it when I was growing up so I honestly thought how I was feeling was normal and I got married and had 2 children, knowing that I didn't feel right but not knowing why. The marriage ended, my kids grew up and I was left with enough time and a clear head to really explore. The feeling when I found out I was aroace was incredible. The freedom, happiness and the weight lifting off my shoulders were all so real. To be able to put a name to how I felt was really helpful too. Your reactions are my favourite btw and you're an incredibly beautiful person inside and out ❤🎉❤

While I don't advocate cheating, it's very hard NOT to advocate cheating when Harper is being horrible and evasive and Riley is sweet, friendly, and played by Aubrey Plaza. Plaza said that her goal was to make people root for Abby and Riley and...mission accomplished. 😆

as much as i love this show, it makes me mad with who he ended up picking. I have trouble watching this show knowing that he picked benji because theyre just dont seem right for each other. They fight too much and Benji is not very patient with victor coming into his own. I love victors character, just not his decisions.

I think this movie was ok, I think the plot was all over the place. As I think story could or would be work better, if this was a TV series as the story could’ve been flushed a little bit better. As I think the movie rushes too quick as plot-line seem either missing something or not put in, Harper being chewed out by her older sister seems lazy and not way. Or Harper getting a taste of her medicine and her sister Sloane, didn’t have a good enough reason to do to her. Also the ended could have done a little better as I feel like all the characters, needed to be flushed out or at least give Harper. Little bit more focus in the story, not just Abby and less focus on Riley. Who wasn’t Abby love interest, I think the movie could have been done better. As everything in the movie was just too quick and not really much, focus done on anyone else specially Harper and didn’t get much during line in the movie.

I love the coverage of Imogen and her comphet. I feel a bit called out with her story, because even though I’m bi, I definitely think a lot of my boy craziness as a teen was more about what society expected from me.

4:06 i know nick would've said yes but charlie would've probably wanted to ask nick first especially when there's other relatives there and he was in a high stress emergency situation especially coz he just got out of the facility just days before christmas (dec. 17 to be exact), give him some slack. tori made her little brother her only lifeline she needs to work on that as well.

Hey!! This was a lot of fun to watch with you, as usual! And I agreed with a lot of your points. Similarly, the scenes with Imogen hit home for me too. I kept trying to participate in life the right way, but I just never understood the signals. I never dated in school, so that’s something I can't relate to, but really appreciate with this show. A lot like Mr. Farouk with his sadness for his child self and his hopes for the next generation. Like you, I was taught that finding a guy and getting married was end game. The only thing i really needed to do in life. So I did when i was 23. It wasn't until after I was married that I started the long road of putting together some of the pieces of the queer puzzle. I was told I was bi, which kinda made sense (?) since I was married to a guy and REALLY liked girls. Not knowing that's NOT what bi means. Like Imogen, I realized I didn't actually like any of the guys I dated in uni, it was just a necesary step in finding a husband (stupid comp het). I ended up divorced and my life fell apart for awhile. I blamed my queerness for ruining my marriage and got "revenge" by denying it even existed. 🤦🏻‍♀️ But it's painful to deny who you are. So I eventually put on my big girl pants and took the time I needed to repair my life, get some therapy, and learn what bi and lesbian really means. Mixed in with undiagnosed adhd, it really did feel like I never knew who I even was. Finally accepting that I'm lesbian and neurospicy was a life changer! The world opens up when you can be brave and accept the discovery of who you really are. 🏳️‍🌈 And if I may offer my 2 cents on "gold star lesbian"...? I think of it as an exclusionary idea made up by those privileged enough to have grown up in a safe environment that allowed them to know themselves early. Must be nice. But MANY of us did not have that privilege, for many reasons, and we certainly don't deserve to be shamed for it. We got here in the end and that's all that matters 💕 Ohmygosh sorry for writing a whole ass novel about my entire life! I couldn't stop 😆 thanks again for sharing your thoughts 🌈

Omg I haven't watched you in forever!!! I hope you're doing well, take the move easy and remember- Mental health is top priority!!! I really enjoyed this season as I felt SEEN! I've been through the same things as Charlie and loved feeling represented. ESPECIALLY Issac's storyline this season!!! Don't feel like there has been 1 aroace character in a show so this was AMAZING. My friends who watch heartstopper finally saw how I feel as aroace, I wanna hear your thoughts about this!!! I loved Elle's storyline too, which made me love Elle and Tao's relationship probably the best. JUST EVERYONES STORYLINE WAS AMAZING!! I'm FINALLY reading the last book to A Good Girls Guide To Murder, it was adapted into a show on netflix this August! I suggest watching it, it's awesome and with Emma Meyers.

I was actually with Charlie's mom. Like you can't expect her to go and allow her 16 year old to go spend the night at his boyfriend house. That just seemed dumb to ask
@KristinaEspinoza
@KristinaEspinoza Ай бұрын
I try to think of it from both sides, I suppose. I do see the problem of letting a 16 year old go sleepover at his boyfriend's house but I also remember some of my friends parents letting them sleep over their boyfriends/girlfriends houses (but only when they had been dating for a significant amount of time)

@KristinaEspinoza they've been dating a year and Nick's been there for a pretty significant time in Charlie's life so what would be the right amount of time and what would be significant? Plus most teens just have sex anyway, so asking permission is trusting your parents and sharing with them that you're ready for sex. It's a form of communication. Both Charlie and his mum got heated so it desended into an argument, but it definitely was an opening for an honest conversation between mother and child about sex, emotional safety and consent.
@Amyduckie
@Amyduckie Ай бұрын
I think it’s important to note that even though teens are asking permission, they aren’t really asking permission, they’re really just saying “hey I’m involving you in this big step because I love you” and when parents push back they end up pushing their kids away. No matter how much parents might not like it, it’s up to the teen if they’re ready, as long as they’re safe. And a long-term boyfriend who is a good boy is as safe as you can get. I say this as someone old enough to have a 16yo.

As you see she ended up pushing Charlie away and he had sex with Nick anyway. If she had been open to him, it wouldn't have happened that way. When she was honest with him afterwards, he was willing to compromise
