sometime his finishing product , he can be poor ., specially last season . he was a bit underperforming , bcs of the injuries . i watched him on many occasions and you would ask yourself , how on earth he could miss that opportunity. though, it cannot be denied , he is A great C.F and you would love to have him in your team .

Why does this myth persist, still, that Pep was trying to replace Aguero? It's nonsense, wanting more from a player, and giving him tough love to get it, is not replacing him, it's managing him, in the same way that De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling et al, have all improved, Aguero's improved as a player exponentially, more involved in the build up, more involved in the counter press, brings out his creative side more often than he has in a while, works harder both on the pitch and without a doubt in training, and he's a lot more selfless than he was when Pep came in. As for being a PL great, it's a no brainer.

He’s the most prolific premier league scorer with 100+ goals of all time with 0.69 goals a game and he averages 29 goals a season with injuries almost every season. Only Henry even compares with 0.67 goals a game. This isn’t even a question, he is one of the best the league has ever seen.

I disagree with Peter on his last point about Poch wearing his players out and they can't win games towards the end of the season. I've heard that discussion before but if you look at the end of last season they won 12 out of their last 13 Premier League games and only lost that one game away to West Ham. The reason Spurs didn't win the title was because they weren't good enough against the other top 6 teams - especially away. That comes down to quality. They might have missed a bit more star quality or strength in depth to change a game from the bench. Winks and Nkoudou may not have been enough.

Bringing in a Striker like Jesus was perfect. Aguero needed the competion, the motivation to be better..he had gotten a bit complecent in a sense. knowing youre the main man in every single match might have affected his work rate. since jesus came in aguero has become more of a team player, he's more mature, he makes better decisions, he gets more involved in a build up. and thats great

Aguero is without doubt one of the best if not the very best forward to ever grace the English game. Literally the only thing you could say about is his game in a negative light would be : He tends to score a hatrick one week not score the next two weeks after but then score 2 or 3 the following week. I guess you could call it consistently scoring week in week out. You can go and check his stats and you will see this. But that would literally be it, there is no denying Aguero is one of the greatest this english game has ever seen in terms of forwards.

A Man City fan here,. Agüero doesn't finish every time. No one does. But he has the angles DOWN, especially the angle across the corner of the 6m box, on both sides. He hits that side netting so OFTEN. But if the GK cheats at all to THAT side, he pops it inside the near post high. He isn't magical, like KDB or D Silva, or Messi. He is efficient and driven. A quality finisher - not every team has that. Now, in terms of team - put Agüero with S Silva and KDB and Sane and Sterling - who are you going to cover? Hahaha too many teams don't manage to cover any of them. I would also say that Agüero's shot is more powerful than GKs expect, and the ball gets past their shoulder or waste before they can react. I think he has it down, when to put more into it. He seems to understand what pace to put on it. The dink is not his forte, but he has it in his arsenal. What was the Argentine coach thinking in the WC, putting Agüero on the bench? What a monumental putz. Agüero still managed about a goal per 90 minutes, one of the top five in the WC. But it's f-ing HARD to score from the second row.
