I do totally agree with you, but for a small company like mine, it's a lot better(price) than fussion360.

I'm enjoying Nomad Sculpt on the iPad! Would love a video on whether you think that's worth it or not too!

I’ll definitely be coming back to nomad sculpt!

I'm a Blender user for about 10 years and just for one thing I decide to use shapr3D and Plasticity; NURBS modeling and these two softwares are really amazing. Of curse I can use other softwares Like Rhino3D or AutoCAD 3D or other things but I found these two really really handsome tools for giving vector data

I’ll have to look into Plasticity. It’s amazing how differently designed tools can make a huge difference with NURBS

I’ve got an iPad mini 6 and I love the portability! A “What’s on my iPad” video sounds like a great idea!

Is the iPad in the video an iPad mini? Is the iPad mini large enough to use Shapr3D effectively?
@Desklord6 ай бұрын
Yes - just barely. For Shapr and other 3D apps, the UI on the iPad mini encroaches into the workspace. Using a bigger iPad is nice, but the portability of the mini is unmatched for doing 3D on the go.

No. Not unless you do this professionally. Shapr3D is lovely to use, but WAY too expensive for someone who only designs/3d prints something every so often. Especially when stuff like Fusion and Onshape is free (with limitations).

I've been using shap3r a bit, but they expired my sub was after a year and ask for a bunch more. I'm a hobby maker, maybe designing 5 objects a year. to me the prize is way too high

Yeah, they really expect you to use it a lot more for that price. Maybe Blender will add an edit mode that mimics Shapr3D’s modeling style. 🤞
