She's already said what she wrote the song about. "I would sit under the telephone wires and listen to them sizzle in the warm air while he went to work. I felt happy in the warm weather and started writing about how sad and gorgeous the summertime felt to me."

I’m so happy you’re getting into Lana! I hope you react to more of her songs. I really recommend the songs Blue Jeans and Cola. I saw her in concert about 7 or 8 years ago and she was amazing! I love her music and it’s easy for me to sing because it’s right in my range, most songs are too high now that I’ve gotten older and my voice has gotten a bit deeper so I love Lana and Arctic Monkeys because they’re perfect for my vocal range! (Plus they’re both fantastic artists anyways so they’re easy to love)
