Seeing them swimming reminds me of the dogs I had as a kid. One of them, a Jack Russel, hated swimming. The other one, a German Shepherd, was basically half fish. When we brought them to the beach we'd throw sticks out for them to swim after. Usually the German Shepherd swam out to get it and then, once he brought it to the shore, the Jack Russel would take it from him and hand it to us as if he got it himself. The German Shepherd didn't seem to mind. He just loved swimming.
