Yes, Im agree. FF is full packet unit, she can recover her energy, weakness application, advanced forward, etc. But, her team is very limited with HMC and Ruan Mei. Boothill is more flexible in team. FF damage is so high when she hit enemies in weakness condition (superbreak), but low damage when enemies still have toughness. Boothill damage is so high when he break the toughness. I think Rappa will be a toughness breaker unit, with strong debuff (imaginary prison), and have sinergy with Himeko.

With the aoe break damage on break, she should be strong enough in pf without either ruan mei or hmc (honestly bronya for more turns seems pretty reasonable). In MoC or AS she will be a more reliant on hmc and ruan mei.

She could be good with a pseudo mono img with Ruan Mei and TB. HMC, Ruan Mei, BE% Welt and Rappa sounds really solid considering that leaks say 5* Tingyun will replace HMC for superbreak support; new FF Team would be 5* Tingyun, Asta, FF and Gallagher or Lingsha.

"can't be broken" breaking toughness bars is one of the core mechanics of the game even before break units came out and even shows this on tutorial so i doubt that. High weakness bars, i used Boothill on Sunday boss he does not any problems shreding the last phase , he can shred those in 2 turns because of his high weakness toughness bar damage not considering he teamates can help that too. Adding to this , what if i say "I hope they add a boss that is immune to crit/critdamage" sounds stupid doesnt it?

If she is a Super Break DPS that does not care about ATK much and is Erudition, I seriously wonder if the "Passkey" Lightcone would be viable on her. Break Serval uses the Passkey Lightcone to get big breaks for Kafka to detonate vs Lightning weak. The downside of the LC is that is 3 star, meaning low ATK, DEF and HP, but does she really care about all that? ATK to Break Vuln conversion would appreciate a 4 or 5 star LC but ATK is not a difficult substat to build like Crit Rate/DMG, and even so I think maxing out that trace if it goes through as is would be a major trap because it gives such a small bonus per threshold and you would want lots of SPD on her. She wants four stats: SPD, BE%, ATK% and ERR. If you have enough SPD, BE% and ATK% then theoretically Passkey would not just be a viable, but optimal choice. She might be the first 5 star DPS that has a 3 star LC as one of her best options.

She does mainly basics and gets energy from traces. For her to get any benefit from passkey she would need a 3xEbasic+skill rotation which gives her 125 total energy without passkey and 135 with passkey. That means if she breaks and kills 3 enemies, which is reasonable for erudition, or is hit 4 times, passkey does not give any benefit. It’s just not worth it compared to the Herta shop lc.

Honestly the only downside i have with her kit is that she doesn't implant elemental weakness. Both FF and boothil implants elem weakness, yet for some reason Rappa is the only one that doesn't! Ik she does 50% toughness dmg on enemies without imag weakness like ff does to fire, but ff not only implants but also helps her teammate like gallagher to do toughness dmg meanwhile rappa will not help HMC to do the same! Literally just make her skill implant on the main target she attacks like ff, what's this bias? Hopefully they do it on v3, otherwise she's really gonna be a pf bot and it'll confirm thay hoyo hates erudition and plan to make every eruditon unit underwhelming and niche.

My point was that it would be lame to just have every character start to ignore weakness and implant to break. It's then like what was the point of elemental weakness? A mechanic to be ignored and circumvented. I think there's more interesting and creative ways to make break dps strong and do their role. Rappa has some ignore which is interesting then to simply implant her own element. we have elements and different elements of dps for a reason.

thats my issue with her to because shes literally a hit or miss in pure fiction depending on the weakness. For the next 3 or 4 pf, they will include imaginary weakness and once its gone, shes unusable unless the enemy is 10 or lower and theres at least one imaginary enemy(or another character breaks it), so shes bad at sustaining long term sadly. I am confused if her talent is applicable for all characters or just her though.

technically nothing stops you from using both firefly and rappa on one team lmao, ruan mei and hmc are both aoe and with enough break you can probably immobilize the enemies before they can attack much

Rappa isn't as strong, but her animations are probably the best they've made so far. I'd say Rappa's animations probably beat out any character in the game currently. Much better than Firefly's animation, and honestly much cleaner than Acheron, and even Feixiao's too.

With all of the free imaginary units we've gotten since patch 1.6, I really don't feel a need to pull for an Imaginary DPS right now. I feel like it'd be better to save for a new Ice DPS since the only one we've really gotten was Jingliu who's not in a great place right now.

Hoyo knows two archetypes: FUA and break. Kinda boring at this point. I love the design of these upcoming units but it feels like hoyo is just trying to sell us "packages" these days. You have to get the "FUA package" because these units only work well with each other, same with break. If you skipped FUA and really like Feixiao you have to either pull on the very... convenient robin rerun or you're stuck with a gimped unit. Same with break where if you skipped Ruan Mei good luck to you. Synergies are good but when every unit demands that you have 2 other limited units to feel good... yeah it's getting a bit much.

You don't need the full package to play the game. You can still clear MOST content without following any meta. Personally for me, what turns me off about the game is that it takes way too long to level and get a character in a good place to make them really useful BEFORE something better comes along. I got Gallagher back in March, but only just got him viable right before Lingsha got here. (I don't spend money on the game at all.) I feel like if I invest in Ruan Mei, a new character will come along a few months later that'll rival her viability anyway. So why bother getting every unit I SHOULD be getting if they'll be replaced anyway? (Rhetorical question.) I guess what I mean to say is that I see Powercreep as being a bigger problem than being stuck in FUA, DOTs, Break, (and soon-to-be-here Toughness Reduction) metas. But that's just my take on that at this point in time.

You did forgot about dot, and HP scaling ones (Blade, Jingliu, Fu Xuan), and summons (Topaz, Jing Yuan, Lingsha). So it is you who knows only FuA and breaks.

I lose today sparkle 50/50 with the blonde kid. So i have guaranted promotional, since i have RM with her LC i think i going to pull for rappa i really like aoe focused character and i love acheron too and is quite similar to her. Lingsha is a good support for her but i want to guarantee rappa with LC so, skip 2.5 for me. I like feixiao too but i dont have robin :( and no tickets or jades for her I have RM with LC and the HMC also Gallagher e4 all the super break base team and i skip FF lol. i Tried Hunt March7 as super break dps but i think classic crit/critdmg is better and xueyi is cool but not enough at my opinion
