@@SuperMurseGaming If you had the spinning top relic and enough exhaust to remove every other card in the deck it would definitely work, however this would be incredibly hard to achieve and not something you should plan for.

For the curious, the Spirit Poop given to you by the fire spirits has a very negligible effect. It lowers your score by 1. Your score on a winning run is in multiple hundreds, maybe a couple thousands.

​@@SuperMurseGamingother than curses, if you were to offer the bonfire spirits regular cards, you can get benefits such as a full heal and a max health gain depending on the rarity of the card you offer.

It's cool to see someone getting into Slay the Spire as we are getting closer and closer to the early access release of Slay the Spire 2. It's a really cool game. As for the power cards they are basically like permanent skill cards. You play them once and then get their effects for the rest of combat. Honestly reaching Act 2 within two hours is pretty impressive. I remember struggling a bunch when I first played the game.

Awesome and great video definitely earned a subscriber. One significant distinction between rogue likes and roguelites. Rogue like games are more unique since every run of the game you do your progress doesn't carry over once you die in a run it's over(permadeath) your loot and items are gone. Roguelites on the other hand do the same format except they usually have some sort of progression system that makes you stronger and gives you certain bonuses and dying is part of the game and progression. Rogue likes are much harder since they rely on you getting better at the game and understanding it, learning the mechanics which makes the experience more rewarding. Roguelites are more forgiving in general since as you get better at the game the game also helps you through the progression system. Rogue like examples such as Slay the spire, nuclear throne, risk of rain 2. Roguelites examples Hades.

This is one of my favourite games of all time. I dislike roguelikes and card games, and yet this game has me hooked enough to have sunk well over 600 hours into it! Glad you enjoyed it, stay awesome bro! :D

It really brings to light pitfalls like gremlin nob's strength gain being permanent so that first block you played was actually -3 after 4 turns and not even 3 blocks worth XD

I love Slay the Spire so much, the replay value is great. Even if you have 200 hours in, there's a good chance you still haven't made it that far (looking at you, self. Although maybe I'm just bad). And if you did get to that point, there are some awesome mods that add more content or just plain fun.

Hey this is a great review! StS is an incredible game, and has a sequal coming out in 2025! but dont let that disuade you from playing this one. once you start the ascension climb you'll only keep coming back despite the game only getting harder and harder. Btw you definitely deserve more subs. this is a really cool idea for a series!

Do It for dicey dungeon. I played it once and the first few hours was great. I beat the game and realized it was just the beginning, there are many characters to unluck and each char has a quirk to make it stronger and a quirk to make it harder to play

@@SuperMurseGaming The two closest concepts I can see on KZbin are: uhTrance - Steam Refund Series: a challenge speedrun, where they try to 100% a game in 2 hours and refund it Gameranx - Before You Buy: which, I'm not sure if it's specifically 2 hours, as most of the games seem to not be from Steam and/or newly released games. Thus, this concept of playing a game normally for 2 hours, and seeing if you'd keep playing or want to refund, I think is a pretty good concept! You've also earned my subscription and I'm looking forward to more of these videos! :3
