Around 8 years ago, I used to buy a sandwich & paper from a local shop. Virtually every day the same man serving, would literally take money, from people behind me. I quickly realised they were all men. So when he did it once more, I asked what he was doing. He very patronisingly said ‘these gentleman have got to go to work!’ So I turned around to the people (mainly men) and said ‘well I’m a Nurse going on duty & possibly saving lives, but if any of you have got a more important job, then please go ahead of me, to be served!’ There was a lot of embarrassment on their faces & no one came forward & the man, stopped serving over my head from that point on!

The fact that the show Atwood is doing was made in the first place proves that society has become more sexist-towards men. Or at least sexism towards men is more acceptable to express, I do like this show but I hate how almost none of the panellists acknowledge the double standards towards men, it makes me wish there were more mixed panel shows, Jane is usually good when it comes to common sense and I guess so is Ruth, but others on the show just let their hatred for men out whether they plan to or not.

When I was 14 we had to write an essay titled "Don't Get Me Started on..." and I wrote "Don't Get Me Started On... Feminism" inspired by a discussion on Loose Women that was centred around objectifying certain actors and making horrible comments about there husbands bodies . I know LW probably isn't the best place to learn about Feminism but the show has had a big double standard for years. I only see clips on here now and hope those conversations ended long ago.

The examples given are a bit lame. Patronising, yes. Sexist? No. You can find offence anywhere if you're looking for it.

Yes. And the need to be right. Can women be sexist toward men? This seems to be entirely absent from the purview of this all female panel.

Do you think itv would ever make a show called bad girlfriend?

The fact that many people struggle (or are scared to even define) woman is an answer in itself.
