I think electrocute still will be his best rune you ain‘t losing to much damage because the base damage in the late game got higher (180 >>>220) But another rune choice that worked well for me is predator it has 15% ap scaling and it lets you gank early and get kills you wouldn‘t have what let‘s ekko snowball easier. It‘s good for early but still good in the late.

I think first strike feels amazing since even when you gank and fail a gank you can generate gold with fighting. That and electrocute is nice but most champs feel tanky now and first strike really helps with that. It also allows you to get those early items with futures market. I go sorcery secondary so I can still farm and have a late game. I think its mostly preference in playstyle but last patch was probably better for electrocute but now it feels weaker.

@@ignitedgamer7295im only emerald 3, but electrocute feels fine in jungle. i rather have a stronger late game than to spike earlier. im a farm first jungle that plays for obj over ganks unless they are high success rate. Ekkos clear was affected but not as much as AD champs. Jungle (from what i feel for ekko) wasnt affected as much as other champs

Can you generate more gold with first strike and nashors since you might be ablee to get more first strike passive procs off?

Yes and not insignificant. However it is getting gutted next patch. 7%. 8% was already a 11% nerf to the runes total value. So riot has now nerfed this rune by 24% in two patches.

try to improve your 1st jg clear, from 3:28/3:30 to 3:15 it helps a lot

They only tamping the damage down another %. It's his best rune. Gold generation is still mega worth. You can get 2k gold+ a game off runes alone by 25 min mark.

​​@@welcometoWWWwell maybe I'm doing something wrong, but getting 2k by 25 minutes will almost never be the case. it's usually like 800-1000 by that time. fs is still the best choice tho, agreed on that one
