It was more like, my internal comparison to the text we had about 40k and Combat Patrol xD

After decades of being away from Games Workshop I started to get into Combat Patrol. I like the smaller, faster games on a smaller play area. Between 40K and Warhammer Fantasy, the fantasy was my favorite. I hope that Combat Patrol gets the same kind of attention in the future. I am jazzed about Spearhead. I wish that I had not pick up the Seraphon vanguard box, since they will include warscrolls in the Spearhead version.

Welcome back in the hobby :D This is a criticism I hear a lot and expressed myself with Combat Patrol. I'm still gonna buy a Votann Box next week but Spearhead feels like a real and fleshed out game ^^' There is still hope for Combat Patrol, I just hope that they will not wait for the next Edition of 40k to make it better:(

Yeah great, but when l can't use my models , it doesn't warm me up. More rules , more books and you can't play it without cards . On top of that playing spearhead means you have to learn two games and somehow convince/force people with 2000pts armies to play with a fraction of your force.

Actually, it is less rules, Spearhead rules will be in the boxes. The cards can be an issue I agree, but the world of the internet will help us all out ;) Spearhead is just the barebones rule system, it is the game just without all the special rules. Also that is one of the reasons I made the video last week about it being to big. We as a community have to push a little against that social convention that 2k points is the norm. 1k or 1,5k are very viable point limits.

Good comparison xD The more I think about it, the more I will probably stick with Spearhead and Warcry. As much as I love AoS, I don't have the space on my table and I don't want to invest that much into the game anymore:/

Also one of the reasons I want to cover other games, especially Conquest :D But as far as I'm aware, other games do not change their rule team and the rules so regularly :/ It is like a librarian who wants to sort the library in a certain way until a new librarian comes along and changes everything again because it is the "better" way...
