For comparable little money you got to experience something that no other game can offer. People who complain about it cannot value that and have limited understanding what already has been achieved and what the vision of Star Citizen is.

strongly recommend next year for people. the game needs a nother 14month to be stable enough to be called a good game. 14 month in will still be buggy but hopefully a lot of content will actually be in and server frames hopefully will be above 15fps instead of above 4fps like it is now

Im more worried about the tech than if they can pull of a fun gameplay. And slowly tech team is delivering, I agree tho, couple years tops will have something much different in our hands

Your right. Server performance is 95% of the issues. It’s cinematically gorgeous if you can overlook dsynching, animation queue problems, high latency, stutter and low performance. Sometimes it becomes unplayable, but 12 years ago it was not playable at all.

I feel there's a chance to have a playing experience that feels closer to what most would call a game within 2-3 years, IF the pace of development continues as it has this year (2024). I feel the important step for them right now is to get the cargo update in and then focus on pushing for stability while delivering on the promise of dynamic server meshing. Once at that point, go back to implementing features. If they can do that then they might actually pull this dream off - I'm definitely rooting for them.

I read places that if you have nvidia gpu, head to the GeForce experience app, it’s possible to see it from there. I do see other games but SC doesn’t show up there. Some other folks say that it might be a string within game logs, however as I reinstalled the game multiple times that number isn’t accurate either
