My first experience with stockx was great so I thought I would try it again to get the fire red fours when they dropped and that’s when everything went to shit. Long story short I never got my sneakers and the only reason I was able to get a refund is because I paid with affirm. Luckily once I provided proof I never received them and Stockx wasn’t willing to help resolve the issue Affirm personally refunded me. Never ordering from Stockx again and it sucks because I wanted to trust them smh.

Theres a Stockc Authentication sticker on the outside of the ps5 box sealing it because they check to make sure its really there and reseal it. That was the main reason i went with them even though it was more expensive than some other places

I did some extra research on stockx while my ps5 was shipping and they do have a very rigorous method to ensure what the seller is sending is is completely authentic. There was a KZbin who tried to sell a fake pair of nike sneakers to his friend as an experiment that look just like the real thing to see if it would pass stockx authentication process and as it turned out it didn’t. Stockx sent it back to the seller and notifies them that it didn’t pass etc etc. With that being said I only bought it because my PS4 broke back in December so I had nothing at all to play on and still wouldn’t recommend anyone paying such a premium if they still have a working PS4 console.

@@joshuagoodsell5952 it’s better but you should not pay nearly twice the msrp for a product. And on top of that what most people don’t take into account is the hardware you need to unlock the full potential of the console. I currently game on a 1440p monitor and Sony ridiculously enough doesn’t natively support 1440p resolution even though it’s the most popular resolution on gaming monitors today.(Xbox had support for 1440p since 2018 in case you also have a 1440p display and want to utilize its full potential) So despite gaming on a next gen console I’m still playing games at 1080p 60fps. So if you don’t have a tv that’s 4k or it doesn’t have hdmi 2.1 input you’re not really going to see any huge jumps in performance aside from loading the game or sections of the game. If that’s not enough then also consider this, there aren’t really any games on next gen console that makes the ps5 a must have right now. All the games I play on it are ones that were released on the PS4 so the experience overall when you factor in the fact that I’m still playing the same games and the fact that although I have a 1440p display that has 144hz refresh rate I’m still experiencing games for the most part the same way as I did on the PS4 and lastly I paid nearly double the msrp just to do that.

@@jamesonmorris1091 yes stocks is a legit site, far more likely to receive what you order from stockx than buying one off of eBay in my opinion. stockx don't sell the product themselves they act as the middle man between the seller and buyer as an authenticator of whatever you are purchasing. the seller sends it to a stockx verification facility and then from there it ships to you. the seller never directly delivers the package to the buyer.

Do not buy from Stock X! Was just sold a knock off jordan 11 cool grey from Hong Kong and this passed their inspection process. I was told this meets their requirement but won’t tell me that the shoe is authentic. Save yourself some headache and go buy elsewhere especially when you are paying over msrp anyways. Any good company would always back up their products with returns and refund so now I know why. Lesson learned.
