Just saying flavor is worth it. Lectin content highest in seed and skin.

Would the miso option break autophagy outcomes?
@naturallynourishedRD Жыл бұрын
Nope it’s like a dimmer switch not light switch not all or nothing
@katrinamac853 Жыл бұрын
@@naturallynourishedRD thank you for replying!!! okay so autophagy still occurs just takes longer and isn’t as aggressive? I have MS and I’m on day 2 of bone broth and I’ve only been adding things such as dried turmeric, dried ginger, black pepper, ground cloves, salt, etc. I’ve steered away from higher calorie additions in fear of losing the benefits for my MS. I am thinking 5 days would be better due to my MS and leaky gut? But is doing only broth and spices okay for 5 days? I need to do a water fast but I figured this might be a nice way to start into the water fast to get my body used to it. I eat extraordinarily clean and I intermittent fast but nothing has seems to help my gut or my acne

What do you think of Kettle and Fire or can you can suggest one that’s in the refrigerator section of a store like While Foods? Thanks so much and I’m a new subscriber..😍

We really like Bonafide Provisions which can be found at Whole Foods in the freezer aisle. We discuss the many reasons why in this video.

@@naturallynourishedRD I finally purchased some “light white miso” paste this morning at Natural grocers. I tasted it by itself (first time trying miso paste that I know of) and it tastes so good. Anyways I heated up some “Kettle and Fire” brand bone broth (the chicken mushroom flavor. I know you recommended beef broth and I’ll try that (my bonafide frontier broth is still frozen but I had the mushroom chicken broth still opened and it was great). And I added a big tsp of miso, I added the shredded dried roasted seaweed (sea salt flavor), added fresh chopped green onions and I also added some “savory” organic baked tofu that I diced into tiny chunks and omg. I’m LOVING IT! Yay! Thanks a lot for the recipe. The more easy recipes to change up broth the better!! 😁

Hi, Are the tomatoes raw? or cooked? It looks delicious!!!
@naturallynourishedRD3 жыл бұрын
The tomatoes we used were raw and it tasted great but if you want to add another step and roast the tomatoes it might even have a deeper umami flavor, but obviously one more step to do. Try it out and let us know how it goes!

I made a bone broth with organic grass-fed beef knuckle that cost $20 and put carrots, celery, onion, garlic, rosemary, thyme, apple cider vinegar and it tasted like junk 🥲 I love the bonafide bone broths though

It is not a dumb question! Yes you can but be mindful of energy, limitations, and consider using an electrolyte prior.

Add Garlic? You cook garlic for multiple hours and all the benefits are gone. Correct?
@naturallynourishedRD2 жыл бұрын
It is mostly for flavor. In general we recommend consuming garlic both cooked and raw to get the full spectrum of benefits.
