Stop giving wrong advice. Except top 20 universities, it doesn't matter where you study. This is not India, what is the university in your resume plays very insignificant role. Don't force student to go to expensive university, thats nonsense. There are many decent universities which are less expensive yet good. Go to any low cost of living state and study in public university of that state, no need to spend too much money on some so called reputed university because they have high US news rank, Ranking system is a scam.

Depends.... as long as youre in a top 400 qs ranked university you're getting the same quality of education and degree. Anything below will be a per by per basis as some community colleges will be better than top qs ranked universities as the professors here actually enjoy teaching compared to the latter where their primary goal is their research.. but job opp is a weird question and he may or may not be right about it.
