even the PPP doesnt give the exact comparison... like you said, it's like comparing apples to oranges... there are things which you cant compare like staying with your parents, celebrating festivals, rising your child in your culture, having maid to cook and clean etc... yes purchasing apple phone and tesla car is cool... but an average android phone and hyundai car does 95% of the job... so if you are earning 2 lakhs in India... its simply not worth it to move to America... unless you are playing to save a lot and some back.

Truth is a lot Indians going to USA because they are impressed by glitzy skyline and good infrastructure of american cities . Unfortunately , our cities are not developed .

@debanikgoswami4834 that is the problem bro... A good road doesn't affect your happiness... If you are having a good job with work life balance and good people... You will enjoy bike rides even in a shitty road. Huge building won't affect your happiness... But being in top of social hierarchy in your country will.

@@jayasuriyaj3470 middle class is nowhere near top of social hierarchy in india, its the politicians and mafias

@@rjk537 lol if can take loan in India, move abroad, get a job in USA in 2024... Chances are you can Graduate from a good college, you can earn 1 lakh/month in India... It puts you in the top 10% of rich people in a country like India, where most people can't afford food.

I can make the case of US even with PPP. If you have the same PPP adjusted salary in the US and in India, and you can save almost 30% of your annual income from both then that 30% of US salary compounded over 10 years can easily exponentially be higher than the 30% you save with the same Indian salary. But again, people like me leave India not because of the salary. Its about leaving to a country which simply has more HDI. If you're in India, your kids will only get the option to be a doctor or an engineer, just like you and you will be working for the western world and adjusting your working time to theirs because most money that the Indian economy generates is due to the fact that we are cheap English speaking labour. There's no revolutionary innovation here honestly. America on the other hand is the melting pot of talents, where opportunities in any field are at the top compared to any country in the world. If you like India and its culture, it makes sense to stay here and make your kids learn Indian values. However, many people think otherwise.

You don't have to be in tech to get a good job in the US or any other country at that. Globalization is moving at a very rapid rate and we are seeing people moving to other countries all around the world. specializing in business, finance or management disciplines can also be rewarding because of the number of businesses and organizations which are getting established or growing quickly every year.

GOOD VIDEO. I AM A PARENT FROM KERALA. ONE OF THE DRAWBACKS OR NEGATIVES OF MOST EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANCIES IS THE FACT THAT 99% OF THEIR VIDEOS ARE RELATED TO ONLY COMPUTER SCIENCE, DATA SCIENCE, ETC. PLEASE TRY TO MAKE VIDEOS ON MASTERS COURSES IN OTHER FIELDS ALSO, FOR EXAMPLE BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING WHICH IS THROWING OPEN GOOD OPPORTUNITIES ESPECIALLY AFTER COVID. IS IT POSSIBLE FOR GRADVINE TO DO A VIDEO ON SOME OF THE SUITABLE UNIVERSITIES IN USA FOR MS IN BIOMEDICAL ENG ESPECIALLY FOR MIDDLE CLASS STUDENTS FROM INDIA?

Brother how can we judge something which is worth it or not It's a complete individual choice because some have dreams and they are allowed to have their dreams. What's wrong if a person goes abroad to pursue his studies or work? If that's the case,we shouldn't do btech in india as many are getting dropout because it's hard then we should also stop studying right? Pros and cons are everywhere the most important thing is we should not forget our culture wherever we are. I see a lot of people hating people who go abroad . As long as the person has the right intentions to move I feel it's completely worth the journey

80k usd is well above the average national income. And if money is the only motivation you need to move to the US, don't.
