When I came across the S Triad "clue", my immediate thought was that the character played by Susan Twist had discovered a TARDIS (maybe in the future) and used it travel in time, and use/market Timelord technology - a bit like that story in Star Trek: Voyager.

Ah yes, “Future’s End” is the ep of Voyager. Very fond of that story because it was one of about 6 episodes of Voyager I had on VHS as a teenager.

the thing i keep coming back to is susan came up with the name tardis she got the name foreman from i.m foreman i think she could have came up with s triad personally i belive s triad i meddling monk like s triad will just be a cover like saxon or missy the doctor will ask how do you know about the tardis and then it is revealed she is the monk who has been meddling with history with Mavity, triad technologies and that weird song she asked for at christmas

I read shadows of avalon as a teenager, it's an absolutely mad book, I only read sporadic entries in the EDA range, so I was missing some context leading into that one but it was just... it was just a lot. Susan Twist also popped up on a few old episodes of Brookside from 1985, which I saw recently, whatever the explanation turns out to be, my headcanon is going to squeeze that character in as part of it because I was really pleased with myself for spotting her in it.

I greatly admire the fact that, just as was the case with Harold Saxon, the roots have been set well in advance of this arc being fulfilled. Perhaps the character could be a more independent time ship, having escaped the tangible shell of a conventional TARDIS to seek more meaningful existence. In any case, great video and fantastic theories.

What if instead of literally being a humanoid Tardis she's just trapped inside it? I think there's a possibility she's the Doctor's biological mother, and her memories and personality are trapped inside the fob watch that the Doctor dropped inside the Tardis (hence why it's supposed to have answers about the Doctor's past)

I have a theory on Susan Twist. I think Susan Twist is Susan Triad who also made Triad Technology, who might also be Susan Foreman because 'S. Triad' rearranged is TARDIS and who made the initials for T.A.R.D.I.S.? Susan, the Doctor's Granddaughter.

I definitely think there will be something wrong with the Tardis maybe this theory is a possibility if it's not a human Tardis maybe Triad Technology is damaging the Tardis in someway or maybe it's been damaged because it was split apart in the giggle, before that the coffee thing, and then what happened during Flux, she's definitely been put through a lot 😂

I'm seeing a lot of S Triad / TARDIS theories, but I wonder if people are missing a clue with the meaning of triad. Most definitions of 'triad' say something like a group of three related or equal things but it can also be a musical chord which seems apt for this series. So there is the straight anagram of S Triad and TARDIS, Susan Triad who is clearly called Susan to make the anagram work! 😅 but also the possibility of three equal components (Doctor? TARDIS? Susan Triad? Mrs Flood?) or a musical chord which sort of ties into The Giggle/Toymaker/Jinx Monsoon vibe...
