When my friends told me about this game, I thought I wouldn't enjoy it, I would get bored after doing all the classes and so on, but I gave it a try anyways and well, now I'm 3 months of non-stop playing in and don't see myself stopping any time soon. Btw hitting lvl 75 feels amazing after what your character has gone through.

Even the flashpoints that only have a veteran mode abailable are doable solo depending on how good you are with your class and having your companion set to heals

While I can’t speak to the expansions just yet, I have to say the core of the game is really fun! The game is still really populated, combat still feels awesome, and the class stories are great! Definitely recommend giving it a try!

Giving credits when it's due, SWTOR has a load of problems on continuation from Kotor, but it is a 9 year old MMO with tons of content. But then many star wars works have continuation problems too, like Kotor from TOTJ, Kotor 2 from Kotor and EP7 from EP6

I just recently was able to come back to this game. Last time I played, the cap was 55. Lol. Welcome to my surprise when my old Assassin was underpowered. Going to re-do the Assassin toon though. From what I've seen the Assassin is finally where it should've been 6 years ago. Doing a Fury Maruader now though. Enjoying the hell out of this game all over again. I've always been mainly a console player and was always disappointed they never tried to port this game. After having finally gotten a PC again, I remembered why they really couldn't. Game is so massive. Anyways, excellent video. Keep it coming.

But this most recent time has all the new bells, whistles, and expansions and.... WOW is it good. This is a must play game, even if you just want to solo mode the story, which is incredible and also a huge amount of content.

I just returned playing on the Darth Malgus server after an 8 year hiatus. I am so glad I did, its amazing. The endgame grinding is not eternal, the story content is amazing, the community is mostly awesome. Advice : first thing to do, join a good guild.

Nice Vid !! I've said this before, but SWTOR imo is one of the few decent relics of media that actually feels like Star Wars nowadays. I've been playing since the weekend beta. Even though I do not play as often as I used to, I still jump in every so often for a reminder of what was decent about this franchise. So much nostalgia and creativity. I just started back playing myself always been fan of star wars and loved the game started in 2016 had fun then started having major lag and freezing with the game put in tickets and did everything they told me to fix it didn't work and check my pc net and everything was fine so sadly had give up the game in 2018 cause running in place and into invisible walls and crashing every second wasn't fun so as luck would have it I picked it back up in Jan 2020 and the games run smoothly ever since I didn't change PC's either all in all this game worth giving a shot if ya enjoy star wars and have always wanted to be a Jedi or Sith ty for your time and keep up the great work hun

Your videos as always are top notch, the only major critique of the game would be the failure to integrate space combat with the story progression. You are never required to fight or fly in space other than hyperjumping to a new planet. Other than that I truly love this game and would highly recommend it

Always wanted to subscribe or whatever it’s called and get the expansions, but I don’t have the cash to keep doing that for months on end. As far as storylines and lore are concerned there's really nothing that can come close to SWTOR at the moment. Each of the class storylines are mostly unique, and it's fun to see how they intertwine as you progress.

The only reason I DON'T play Swtor (Or any other MMORPG's that aren't like what I prefer) is because I prefer action combat. Such as BDO's, Blade and soul or Vindictus'. I would prefer a BDO syled MMORPG (Open world and guild PvP and housing) for Swtor. Kinda like Galaxies but with Action combat and other tweeks for the time period. Other than these MINOR things I did enjoy Swtor the time I played it. But I got a bit tired of the combat. If you're fine with the typical combat then I highly recommend Swtor. I write this because this made me go back to it and try it again, so good video. You're pretty Honest about the game you really enjoy.

It's nice to see someone who still cares enough about this game to advertise for it. These devs don't deserve you. If subs were more reasonably priced, I'd live in it. $15/mo for such little new content is too expensive.

I love Star Wars; the movies, books, TV shows, games, etc. I really love the old republic setting first explored in KotOR, and fleshed out in this game. I've only played through one class story and am working through all the expansions, but for someone who enjoys playing solo this game is amazing. I've been playing non-stop for months and can't wait to start the other class stories once I'm done with all the expansions as my Sith warrior.

I just started about three weeks ago and definitely recommend it. I’m not fond of mmos but enjoyed treating this as a coop game. I’m at 75 and really enjoy the gearing system. My only complaint is the ease / negligence of stats while leveling up. The game is laughably easy through the story and because you’ll quickly put level the zones your stats don’t mean much either. It’s not until you’re at lvl 75 and venturing into master mode that it seems stats matter.

Hello SWTORISTA and another great video, sorry you haven't heard from me in awhile but Mon Mothma still has my Rogue One crew on missions in the far side of the Outer Rim. I would yes it's definitely worth playing SWTOR but as I always complain theirs no way of putting my character in this game. I hope the force continues guiding you in your journeys in the game.

I started playing this game at the start of this week. I’ll admit it, I wish I had got it at launch if I could have! I definitely find it enjoyable, I even subbed! Unfortunately I’ll be gone for the next 3 months for boot camp but sure as hell I’ll be back after that!

I'm not a new player, but have been gone for almost 4 years. I just came back about a month ago and have been really enjoying myself again, even restarted my sub. I had pretty much completely forgotten the class stories, so it's almost like playing a new game again, lol. If you enjoy SW, then this game is worth playing, imo.

Made a new toon recently, playing with a friend who's never played, we both love it. You don't even have to think of this game as an mmo, but more of a coop game. Its wonderful. Though the paywall can be a pain in the arse.

I still have the original 3 disc game from when I bought it while having a subscription. Right now things are a bit rough and I can't wait until I get a new pc just to play it again. I've had sith juggernaut before it went free to play,then I had a bounty hunter(Mercenary) and an imperial agent. That new feature makes sense because I hated that I wasn't feeling much of a challenge when visiting other planets.

I've left this game a few years ago, when endgame content was really lacking and our guild fell apart. Only came back to do the story. I sometimes have the feels to come back and do some operations, or something, but getting in a new guild... Idk. I wish some of my friends would start playing, I'd so like to play with them. Even just doing minor things like guiding them to the Datacrons.

what about the white acute module? i heard that cancels out the xp boost, so lets say i like to level up the old slow fashion way, where would a starting player like myself acquire said item?

I believe that item is only for during double xp events.

@@Swtorista makes sense and clarifies alot actually as there not of info in regards about it you see but from i understand so far, it would seem f2p has slower xp rate and in turn sounds like the better route to go lvl grinding wise, i just find it more rewarding in alot of ways and more reasons to explore.

I was playing world of Warcraft and very much enjoying my time, that is until I reached level 10 and had to stop unless I paid. Stumbled across this game trying to scratch that itch and MAN! What a game, just the fact that I don’t have to read each and every quest step toppled with awesome cut scenes and the immersion of getting to choose your own adventure and dialogue... yeah I’m only level 14 and I am more then happy to give this game $15 a month and support further updates for it. Thank you Star Wars Old Republic, here’s to more relaxing evenings after work adventuring with a beer 🍺😎👍🏽
