They flowed the mothers lead. Ms Evelyn certainly helped create that divide. She didn’t want Toni to go solo and leave her sisters, but was fine with them leaving Traci. She didn’t like the fact that Traci was still close to the dad after the divorce. It comes down the line.

They started working as background singers for Toni for all those years. Traci felt bad about it because Trina was just pregnant and had just had a baby, so she felt singled out, but Trina wasn’t pregnant anymore so she could still be in the group. Years later, only Trina apologized to Traci. She said “I’m sorry that we left you. Your dream didn’t have to end because we were afraid of our ending.” That seemed to help Traci a bit, but it’s hard to see your sisters performing around the world, living the dream you all wanted together, but they left you because they were scared of losing their contract. It didn’t help anyways, considering that their group didn’t succeed at all.

I like her because I know she is just showing us her trauma, and since she still hasn't dealt with it fully, this is what you see. A lot of people get so angry with her because some of them see themselves in her. They don't know how to handle their own trauma and see her with so many opportunities that others don't have. I think this makes some just turn their pain into a hate on her. Tamar really seems like a fun, loving person just with trauma she still needs to work through.(age nor money doesn't exempt you from getting rid of your childhood pain/suffering) I'm not saying this is you. For others, it can just be plain embarrassing for the world to see a woman act like this. Hope this explains some of Tamar, in my opinion. Plus, this is coming from someone who doesn't know her obviously(for someone who may say, am I her representative-😂 and she has come for me before) Wow! I really much enjoyed this interview with Tamar Braxton and I think that Carlos King is right Tay I really need somebody who she can trust who she can rely on the audience was given her a hard time and different times of the conversation, but Tamar stood steadfast to her beliefs and circumstances, I believe that she honestly answered each question she took her time to think about it. She really do a little bit of soul-searching I commend her for doing that. She has made a drastic change in her life to becoming a better person and she’s on her way of doing it. She’s not making excuses and she avoids drama that’s when you put in the work you see the change in the outcome that she has brought to the table thank you, Carlos king I love me some Tamar. She’s got that kind of personality no matter what you put her on whether there’s a play or sitcom she’s gonna do very well. I’m proud of her success and her growth.

Listen…they created the show because everybody on there needed some coins. Also, this show is not a thing CLOSE to 227, or any of those black scripted shows…those were relatable classics. Most black women/families cannot relate to all that made up drama and foolery on tv. That was simply entertainment at the exploitation of black women for a few dollars. The sad part is we as black women keep supporting these kinds of shows and then others think that that is really how black families are. NO! It doesn’t represent many of us at all.

The "Braxton Family Value" offered no value. Tamar wanted the spotlight all to herself. The way she mistreated her sisters and everyone as she advanced in her career was a disgrace. I believe that she is the reason her other sisters did not achieve the individual success they deserved. Tamar is consumed by entitlement, envy, and bitterness. This makes me understand why God chose Toni to be the breakout STAR to establish the Braxton lagacy. If it were up to Tamar, she would have probably left her family behind and her success would have remained unsuccessful, just like it was before. Tamar doesn't have a good heart and she is a prime example of how your gift will take you to the top, but your character won't keep you there.
