Jeremy- Good job, brother. We appreciate what you are doing. I remember watching Jared with AWP when he couldn't afford air in his tank. His regulator was broken. His first boat was cardboard and duct-tape. He had a humble start, but his passion to help the environment grew into a larger role. You are a member of the AWP family and you also have a humble beginning. But, each day, each dive, each video .. you are reaching more and more people. You keep doing what you do. Video by video, step by step, your base will grow and the funds will grow. I believe in you and the future of your channel. You got, this Jeremy... and we the viewers have got you.

Nug, I have a trolling motor that I was repairing and was going to be donating it to Jacob, he's had one donated to him. I would like to donate it to you as soon as I can get it finished. Repairing some wiring and replacement of pins. But, I will be sure that it is performing well before you get it. I have contacted several people in the suburbs of Nashville to see if I could find a small boat that would be donated as well. If you are interested, please let me know and I'll keep you updated.

Just a suggestion but have you thought about mounting a waterproofed camera onto an extension pole (like you pick apples with) to look at things in shallower water when you can't dive? I think you can get them up to around 25 foot and lightweight fiberglass. It's just a thought... And it's CHEAP. 😉

The 50' is your distance scale at your present zoom. Realize when you are in downscan or traditional sonar your cone is about 1/3 your depth. So if you are in 9' of water your cone is only covering about a 3 foot circle at the bottom.

I didnt get to see your live broadcast, but I have some comments to your Lowrance. 1. Its fully capable of locating guns. The choice of 455/800kHz is the frequency of the sound, and none of them are "better" than the other. But it's more suitable for different tasks. Low freq=longer range/less "resolution". Higher freq=less range /higher "resulotion". Your SS image seems to have less resolution than it is capable of, probably related to transducer not mounted straight/flat (need to draw to explain). Good luck! From a sonar operator :)

You need to let the people know you need a boat with a trolling motor at least. I know you don't like to ask but your team/viewers want you to be able to do a good search. Asking for help will help you grow and let you do more to help. You clean the environment but you also have the skill set needed to do more. AWP grew and they are now doing so much to help the community. You can as well. If search and rescue/recovery is not for you then you can still help remove cars and trash from the environment. Looked just like a Barbie doll including the hair. One time I rode with him down a River that flows into the Gulf and we went only a mile and found a sunken boat right in front of the local coast guard station. Forgive my ignorance, and forgive me if someone is missing in that area....but, when bodies are in water, don't they eventually come to the surface due to gases/ decomposition? They then remain afloat(I think), once that process has begun. I don't blame you for not wanting to go retrieve it.
@exploringwithnug

Come to find out, there’s lots of variables that will make a body float. Mainly water temperature and time. Plus if someone took the time to weight the body down with bricks or dumb bells.

If travel was possible by boat to places like Wyoming I would be ecstatic though because I Love 🌊 and I Love ⛵'s. My travels to other states are off the highway mostly because once I get on the right track I get off the highway, find a back road headed in the right direction and find my own path. That's my way of travel because I do not like the highways.

I remember when you first made this video. Wow its been 3 years already. I remember when you got the truck from your Dad too. You've come a long way baby boy. That crack or valley in the reservoir could also been known to unsavoury people that wouldn't want things found. ❤❤❤

Learn what you have first, then move up. Family comes first! Stop putting yourself down and learn from experience. The other guys had to learn first then moved up. Listen to Jared's knowledge, he had to learn before he got where he is. Best of healing to lady you talking about

is there some way to get a blinder like a cover over you or right around the edges of the screen like a viewfinder that would cut the reflection and glare from the sun on those devices? As I'm sure a lot of us would love to help point things out for you but it makes it really difficult to do so with the glare in the way.

The screen also needed a GOOD Wiping down...lol. That would have made a Big difference. But, just even a long piece of cardboard to go along the top & down the left side, leaving the right side free to easily reach the controls.

I realize that this is most likely an older upload, but it bothered me when you put yourself down by saying you have not found anything of importance. You, my friend. Yes YOU found those two teenagers who had been missing since 2000!! The sheriff said that you... Yes YOU were his county's HERO!! I THINK YOU ARE AN AMAZING CONTENT CREATOR!! It is my fondest hope that you get all the things you need. If I could afford to donate to anyone... It would be you!! I find you to be VERY VERY GENUINE HONEST, KIND AND SINCERE!? Please my friend.. QUIT PUTTING YOURSELF DOWN!! Love to you from the Middleton family in Michigan 💯 💯💯👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏🙏😜❤️💗💖.. P. S. IT IS VERY EVIDENT THAT YOU ARE EXTREMELY PASSIONATE ABOUT HELPING FAMILIES BRING THEIR LOVED ONES HOME 🏠

Yes, I saw the shape! But bodies on the bottom in water are usually face-down in an almost fetal position, backs of hands and tops of feet dragging along the bottom - so you probably wouldn't actually know you were looking at a body with sonar even if you were. Has to be worth a look. And to anyone who does ever find a body - it's important not to disturb it until police divers can photograph and document it insitu! Experts in the field can tell a lot about the position of a body in water, like if it was an accidental drowning or if the person was already dead when they entered the water. Have a great day!

@@kevinhoye4942 Thank you, Kevin. I've never had any experience with actually using sonar. At all. I've only seen videos of sonar in use - and I'm afraid I'm not very good at interpreting it. May I ask how you came to see sonar of bodies, as in plural?
