Unfortunately there’s not a lot out there as it’s such a time consuming medium. I would rec Boxtrolls, it’s pretty fun. You could check out Adventures of Mark Twain, which is super weird Or if you want something really unique, Mad God is a horror stop motion movie made by the guy who did the Star Wars special effects. I don’t know how suitable for KZbin it is though as I haven’t been able to see the whole thing for myself yet. It looks very dark and nightmarish

If anyone was wondering because as a child I always wondered why Roddy kept saying "Goodnight". It was because he was actually getting a goodnight back as opposed to the start of the movie when he was all by himself. Its quite sad but sweet at the same time.

A few years after this came out on DVD some friends were visiting from France with there 3 kids and staying at our home. This was a Family favorite so we watched it, 5 kids and parents. When it came to the part where Le'Frog says "We leave immediately" and he's told "It lunch time", he replies "We leave in 5 hours". My friends kids and their Mom(Dad's American) whispered a few words to each other in French and busted out laughing. They explained that's close to the truth.

_Chicken Run, W&G: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit,_ and _Flushed Away._ The Aardman-DreamWorks Trio are an excellent collection of movies to be sure. This one specifically, was Aardman's first CGI film, and they knocked it out of the park! I like how the video kept chugging, making it look like stop-motion.

I’m just now realizing that I think the artist rat earlier in the movie saying “that took me 3 years to draw”. I’m now wondering if that’s supposed to be a way of DreamWorks themselves saying that the movie took them 3 years to finish. I can definitely see that.

Aardman Animations, Ltd. (also known as Aardman Studios, simply Aardman or Aardman Animation) is a British animation studio based in Bristol, England. It is known for films made using stop-motion and clay animation techniques, particularly those featuring its plasticine characters Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, and Morph. After some experimental computer-animated short films during the late 1990s, beginning with Owzat (1997), Aardman entered the computer animation market with Flushed Away (2006). As of February 2020, which was 2 years ago, it had earned $1.1 billion worldwide, with an average $134.7 million per film. Aardman's films have been consistently very well received, and their stop-motion films are among the highest-grossing produced, with their 2000 debut, Chicken Run, being their top-grossing film, as well as the highest-grossing stop-motion film of all time.

Really fun movie. My only nitpick is that strange unnecessary twist they pulled with the liar reveal trope. You initially think Roddy's lying about the jewelry and it surprisingly turns out he was telling the truth on that one, but then they still pull a liar reveal with him lying about having a family, but it turns out Rita doesn't mind that he doesn't have a family, BUT THEN he still brushes her off for no reason other than the writers needed an "all is lost" moment. XD

I can't think of any claymation movies that aren't by either Tim Burton or Aardman. I think the difference between the two is that Burton's movies are more meaningful stories, while Aardman movies are not only a lot funnier, but they also specialize in claymation, so they're a lot better at it
