When Alex uses the phone to try and call for help yet he broke Marty's ipod because "the buttons were too small." So ironic. This movie was jam packed with so many things but every time King Julien showed up on screen I couldn't help but laugh at the stupid things he says. "Hey Freaks." He's either high or drunk on something lol Also a great cast. I liked the addition of Alec Baldwin as Makunga, Will-i-am as Moto Moto, and the voices for the kids. I believe some of them were the kids of the main characters and one was Zach Gordon(Greg Heffley from Diary of a Wimpy Kid).

I would say the third one is worth the reaction too. It’s my personal favorite, though I think the fandom is a bit split on it. Definitely decide on it for yourself, though. And then there’s the spin-off movie, “The Penguins of Madagascar,” which, while not as good as the trilogy, is pretty fun. Especially if you like the penguins. 😁

Hey dude. I've been on safaris in Africa. Of course, I actually live in Africa so it's not that impressive, lol. But I can give you a handy guide here. Most safaris are not what they show on TV- but in a good way. The open jeep with the guide driving you is a special paid trip that can take you down staff roads and during night hours. Most of the time you are driving yourself in your own car (or whatever car you are renting). If you find an animal you want to watch you can park next to them all day. The largest, government-owned parks have a rule where they are only allowed to have animals that naturally appear in the region, because the main idea is to preserve the biome, not to put animals on display. Here are the best places to go on safari: Addo Elephant Park, South Africa. This park is known as the 'Big Seven' park because it has lions, leopards, buffaloe, rhinos and elephants, as well as a marine section where you might get to spot the southern right whale the great white shark. You've also got the typical, like zebras, meerkats, warthogs, antelope etc. A lot of the accomodation is on the fence so you get to watch the animals at night from your balcony. Sadly, no giraffes or cheetahs. It's relatively close to a city so you are not as isolated as you might feel. Hluhluwe-iMmfolozi Game Reserve, South Africa. This one has a bit more variety with cheetahs, giraffes, crocodiles, hippos, the african wild dog, wildebeest, and several bovid deer species. The accomodation is more upscale. Some smaller, safe animals like warthogs wander around the guest areas. Mt Killamanjaro National Park, Tanxania- where this movie takes place. This one has much larger open fields where you can expect to see large herds of herbivores grazing. It's got multiple biome zones including rainforest and alpine so you can expect to see the savannah animals like in Hluhluwe but also a lot of rare species of monkey, deer and birds. It's less developed with just a small town outside the park. Safari's are no overrated adventure if you are an animal lover, so I highly recommend you do come to Africa and experience it yourself. You might not catch a leopard kill or lions roaming, but just getting up close with browsing elephants and hearing their teeth crunch wood is amazing.

I really recommend the animated TV show with the penguins. Sure, it's not on the same level as the movies (animation quality and jokes), but you'll get the penguins, the main characters, and King Julien (including his little entourage) engaging in some hilarious shenanigans in a short 20 minutes per episode. Some new characters are added and you'll learn A LOT about the penguins and their 'business'. All in all, it's a well done TV spin-off, sometimes a bit silly (it's made for children's TV after all), but if you love the penguins and king Julien and want more of them, that's exactly what you'll get.
