I got to run into Greg the other day and take a picture with him at a truck stop (I'm a trucker) and that was a long day I hadn't eaten yet I was shaky and couldn't think strait and I went total fan girl seeing the guy from my favorite show on any platform and then seeing my picture made it into this video is amazing and it's a surreal thing to see.. It is really cool how this all worked out with this buck. I was just telling my pastor friend last night as we watched the Super Bowl. about how exciting it was seeing Zach getting within a couple of yards of him and getting a shot. I'm 83 years old now and began hunting in my friends camp in the Allegheny National Forest in northern Pennsylvania in 1980.We killed a lot of deer out of his camp but now our hunting takes place in our memories. It has really been fun following your adventures on all of these hunts and I thank you all for allowing me to "tag along". You guys are the best !

Great hunt, Greg! I love seeing Mindy experiencing these things with you. Growing up, me and my dad always hunted solo. Now that I'm married and some of my children hunt, I wouldn't trade taking them along for anything. My wife started out just tagging along and like Greg shared, I killed a big Ohio gobbler the first time we ever hit the turkey woods together. She was in the stand with me when I killed my biggest buck to date in 2013. As time went by, she started to get the itch to hunt herself. Now several years later, she's killed 2 bucks, 2 does and a button buck. Taking your spouse or significant other afield and sharing that passion is something more people need to experience!

Awesome end to the chapter! I really enjoy seeing Greg’s self filming. So much work goes into it and the quality of his efforts definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. The knowledge that Greg has on wildlife from his schooling would be really cool to highlight. Even showcasing some of the schooling options that people could get into would be cool. You guys have had such a great impact on getting folks hunting, and with Greg’s background you can show how people could make their career into helping wildlife through research.

What a beautifully produced hunt and a superb way to finish off the story of the buck. I felt very confident that the buck would survive after the archery encounter, but it was awesome that Greg was able to bring it home in the end. I love the interaction of Greg and Myndi and how she is so supportive and wants to be involved in the hunts even though she does not wish to harvest an animal. Total team effort. You all are a great representative of how things should be done.

Hey Greg, awesome buck, the other awesome thing is spending time with ur wife, doing what u love , my wife and hunted together for many years, but all awesome things come to an end , I lost her to lung cancer 3 and a half years ago, I have not been able to shoot a deer since, had opportunitys but couldn't close the deal, ,most importantly are the memories of hunting with her, take care of ur pretty lady , and keep on hunting with her or whatever, thanks for the ride u take me on with all ur videos , wish u all nothing but the best, god bless

Man, Myndi is one tough gal! Tracking and packing with a cold! Amazing that you got him after Zach's shot. It would be interesting to see what it looked like inside. It was seven years before my wife hunted with me after lots of time afield. She has taken elk, big horn sheep, whitetail,turkey and mule deer since. When she shoots there is always something to pack out.

Now this is how to represent Iowa hunters ,especially when you keep your appearance so respectable . You two are a great team , your children are blessed to have you ! Zach's appearance is a real turn off for me , but then , I am old school and have had to fight the non hunting crowd for many years , appearances are everything to the general public and I really don't appreciate such an unkempt appearance . I am native American descent , and I have worn my hair long enough to tuck in my shirt pocket since the 1980's , but , I never went out in public without it was put in a tail or at least looking nice . It isn't neccessary unless Zach has some point he is trying to make...like he is some kind of revolutionist or he finally got away from mommy and daddy and they never let him look like that ...or something...it must be a mental thing in the opposite direction mine goes . I am anal about my appearance ! As if you couldn't tell . Great video , great strategy and well executed . You are an intelligent hunter for sure , and one worth watching ! Hope Mindy feels better quickly , you two make a great team, and from What I gather , she is a great cook too ... grade A woman like mine has been for the 43 years we have been married , wish the same for you two as well !
