You might try a sledgehammer. If you can lever an area up then smack it, the elevated section will crack easlly. You dont have to break it into chips, just manageable pieces.

Yeah Ive been using a sledgehammer up to this point. It's impossible to raise an area though. Combination of hard clay ground and the way they poured the concrete. I've broken tools trying to raise some bits

That is called a chipping hammer. It is not designed or meant for that kind of use.

nope I'd rather use a sledge than waste my time with an electric hammer, but for what you bustin out there a 40 pound jackhammer and a compressor will make ya feel like superman ;)

Nice nice. I wanted a gas or air powered but the price wasn't within budget.
