Is the 2012 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG supercar WORTHY?

The Mercedes Benz SLS AMG is a very special car. It's gull wing door design harks back to the famous 300SL from the 1950's. Under the hood is a fire breathing naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 pumping out 563 HP & is mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox. Even though it may not have the fastest top speed or 1/4 mile time, does the 2012 SLS AMG have what is takes to be a supercar?

great as always...never been a huge Mercedes fan but that car is beautiful. I agree 100% , not sure why you would choose black and brown seats? Black and grey or black on black or black on white or even red..not brown...but great review and glad they actually let you drive it!

The Black Series SLS AMG are approaching the million dollar mark. They are marginally more powerful than the base SLS AMG. The BS has 10% more power but 10 ft-lb less torque than the base model. Zero to 60 and the 1/4 mile are only a fraction of a second faster. Either the base model valuation is too low or the BS valuation is too high.

I just did a Kelley blue book trade-in value on this car, three AIRBAG recalls !!! And it will not even give me a value !! No trade-in value !!! .... Dealers cannot legally sell a car with airbags recalls until repaired, if they can't get the airbag yet it can't be repaired... Takata airbag BS.

@@anthonymolina7416 I don't know about this car, my 14 Mustang GT had the airbag recall also for 3 years, I couldn't trade it in for a new Mustang GT, they didn't want to do any deal because they couldn't put it on the lot with a recall, any reputable dealer wont sell a car with a recall is what 4 different dealers told me and it makes sense because of the liability. ... I'm guessing this dealer got a great price on this car when it was traded in... It is beautiful.
