A Trimble i can tell you here in Germany these cars are lasting...mercedes e-class are taxis here and they last 500-800K kilometers with first engine and transmissions...guess the problem us that a lot of americans domt do regualar maintenance and the German cars seld in america are not made in germany!Maybe thats also a reason

On the online configurator, its rendered as having a color matched center. My guess is it had to have been replaced at some point for a defect/failure, but why they didn't replace it with a color matching part is beyond me.

Those wheels really shouldn't be considered monoblocks. Monoblocks were never convex in the center like these wheels. And the biggest problem is that monoblocks don't look good on round Mercedes. They only look good on the square cars. The W210, R129, and W202 were the last cars that looked good with mono's.

it's a German car thing, same thing for BMW, Audi and Porsche. A lot things are optional and it's not necessary a bad thing IMO. You get to pay what you want and need, it's just that you need to do a little homework before specing your car.

The Germans are just money grabbing with this - Porsche began with this trend. You pay 600€ for a wrapped roof which costs 130€ if a 3rd Party does it. Same with paint- a professional painter does a 5x better paintjob for 5000€+ and it wont have orange peel all over it (Seen on a 250.000€ Mercedes). They make most of the money with these upgrades

Parker from Vehicle Virgins, who owns an E63S and is looking to possibly replace it with the GT 4door noted that the 4 wheel steering actually makes a huge difference between the two cars. In low speed maneuvers the E63S doesn't actually turn well in part because of the 4 wheel drive system and the 4 wheel steering completely fixes that problem.

I think the one I reviewed had the 20” AMG-forged spike wheels and it looked spectacular. I’m not sure about these wheels. Brake dust will be a pain and they’ll be constantly dirty and difficult to clean 🧼

I had a close up look at an Edition One a few months back and the looks, the exhaust noise, that V8 configured interio centre console...EVERYTHING- Simply GORGEOUS!!!
