I drive a 2017 XT5. I love it. It's a little harsh and uncommonly loud for a luxury suv. But it's a Cadillac and I love it. FTR, if I were to get another suv of this size, it would definitely be an Audi. However, tbs, I would definitely not pass on upgrading to a XT6 or the Ecalade or maybe even the venerable CT6.

I purchased a 2017 certified XT5 almost a year ago. Overall, I like the vehicle and I’ve owned many Volvos, Acura and Mercedes. My biggest gripe, the ride is a bit too stiff and road impact harshness good be better. Coarse road surfaces brings on many interior buzzes, not a impression of luxury. But hey, for 23k for used with 37k miles on it, I’m happy with my choice.

JOE ~ the good the bad & the ugly lol. this SUV has it all. I guess Caddie fans will like it, yeah the seats are nice & there are many good points to it, but it also leaves much to be desired, I feel like GM just kind of threw a bunch of left over parts together & said - look we have a new Caddie SUV. I don't hate it yet I'm not finding the nearest dealer either. it's a pro's vs. con's kind of SUV for me, unlike this incredible channel which is always at the top of my list of favorites. good report - tony

I have actually been researching the Jaguar F-Pace.... which can be had with a Turbo4 or their new twincharged Inline6 for upcoming 2021 models. 2020 and before the supercharged V6 is available along with the Turbo4. No matter which engine option the F-Pace uses the acclaimed ZF-8speed tranny, used in so many euro offerings because of its relaibility and performance. Jag just updated their interior for 2021(model yet to be on the market) but even the current car on the market is nice inside. Dynamically I think the Jag would have a better sporty ride due to its rear wheel drive bias. Can't speak to prices, but slightly used low mile Jags have great depreciation so its not as expensive to obtain one as one may think. Also, the Jag is elegantly designed...good interior space and all. Grace, space & pace... old Jag motto.

Its funny you mentioned the xt4 or telluride . We have our choice down to those two cars . Loved the xt4 but to expensive even after discounting the car 2200.00 plus another 1500 from Costco . . Also they were low balling my trade and they wouldnt really negotiate a better price . The Telluride gives you a lot more car for the money . It is much roomier more standard features in the higher trim levels and a better warranty . The also offered me 500 more for my trade than I asked for . I still think the xt4 is a nice car and probably would have bought it if the matched Kias offer on my trade . Going to give the Lincoln Corsair a look

The issue is the palisade does this job better for way less money, and before you tell me "oh but its a completely different class of vehicle blah blah blah" no, both are made on architectures stemmed from minivans, both are FWD based and both are based around NA V6's (although this one has a base 2.0t). The second row of the palisade has heated and cooled seats, and on the rare occasion you need more than 4 seats, instead of some uncomfortable 5th middle seat with no arm rest, you get a very comfortable third row seat with lots of space, and can comfortably seat 2, and emergency seat 3. Not to mention the more luxurious front end, the better tech suite, and the 10-15k price difference in favor of the palisade. The XT5 and XT6 are just weird looking chevys with a fat price tag. If you really want a GM crossover, either get the acadia/blazer for smaller or traverse for bigger, save the money you won't regret the money saved.

I always liked these. Steadily improving them going back to the original SRX design. Looking forward to the new redesign. Gotta go with AWD, or go home. OK, Tom... Who's the Lady your hiding from?? Huge miss on ventilated seats! Business side looks dated for the price. Cream interior is purposely squishing moon pies! 🤫 Again, a great standard, from Caddy, with great design, just needs a freshing up on certain features with in the interior. You asked, I'd probably go with a M-B SUV. Thanks Joe, and Tom! 👍🏁🏁

The rear kinda reminds me of a 2003-2007 Nissan Murano
