The 2022 Cadillac XT6 is it a good Buy?

Yesterday I traded my 2020 XT6 for a new 2022 XT6. So obviously love it! Served as great tow vehicle for towable RV within towing specs. Had great trip in June from NC to Grand Canyon towing Rockwood Geo Pro 15TB. Looking forward to many trips with new XT6!

I really like the exterior of the XT6, the interior dash is elegant but it needs to be updated to match the competition. I saw spyshots of the 2024 XT4, its getting the Escalade/Lyrique style dash, I bet the XT6 gets the same treatment as well. I'd also add a turbo V6 option with standard AWD.

I rented one of these for a road trip. It was 15 hours each way, was comfortable the whole way and the highway mileage was nothing short of spectacular. My ONLY beef is I wish it was bigger. If it was grand cherokee sized I'd lease one tomorrow.

I wish they would have built it off the traverse platform instead of the Acadia so it would be just a little bigger on the inside

Because of the more powerful engine and sports upgrades including brakes, I would choice this trim 👍

What does it mean when you say "this one is going to look a little bit more smaller"? Is this car smaller in size than the Volvo etc?

The Cadillac is about 3.5inches longer. The way the style of the vehicle is, it makes it look smaller then the vehicle appears.

I have a Volvo XC90 and I always thought the XC90 and XT6 look nearly identical from a side angle. That said, the XC90 is far ahead of the XT6 in terms of interior build materials and quality. Nowhere near the amount of cheap feeling plastic in the Volvo interior vs the XT6.

For as amazing as their cars look, their SUV’s are ass ugly. The escalade aside, obviously, that thing is probably the best looking vehicle on the market. They need to find a way to just make a slimmed down, lower weight, 2 row escalade with a 4 & 6 cylinder engine. Price that around 55-60k and watch them literally print money.

Instrument guage looks 10 years old. Terribler. Info screen only 8 inch? Terrible. There are a dozen SUV better for the money. How about making an XT6 with same cluster as the Escalade, just not as big. Cadillac put all effort into the Escalade, rest of line up way behind the design times.
