Nissan kinda redeemed themselves in the subcompact crossover segment with the second generation Juke's design. It stands out, but it's not weird looking.

I wished that the new Juke was available in the US insted of the Kicks

Still mind boggling how the US by and large rejected hatchbacks (compared to Europe and other regions), but embraced crossovers, which are nothing more than lifted (if even) hatchbacks. I say if even, because some aren't even lifted... the Mustang Mach E for instance has about the same ground clearance as a regular Mustang coupe.

Yeah, why is this better than a Honda Fit, which threy don't even bother trying to sell in the US anymore.

It's like people want a Honda fit but instead got for the Honda fit cousin the "HR-V" 😬😬

$27K for what is reviewed??? Geez, hard pass. Nice review BTW Kirk.

Not gonna lie, I still like the Nissan Cube does have the traditional Japanese Boxy Style Car and I like how it looks it’s shame that it’s didn’t deserve well good love since they put Jatco CVT that ruins the image of the car.

Nope. Much rather have a certified pre owned Lexus UX 200 for under $30k that will last me many miles!

I just brought one it's cool and it's fits my pocketbook and I can still save and get to a place just like any other SUV's it's how you wear it.🕶️👠🥩💃😍

Nissan doesn't like to use CVT's Nissan North America loves the CVT's and I don't know why they don't just get the e-Force options in these vehicles like what they have in 🗾 .. This is what makes me upset with the Executive of Nissan of North America because the e-Force is so perfect for the Kicks .. I drove one down in Namie Japan and it's butter smooth, it fuel efficient, and it would be in competition with Toyota and Honda hybrid systems ..

I hear you! E power needs to make it's way to USA

Honestly it looks pretty nice. Had this had a sunroof, it would’ve helped with the price for sure. Also, I like this review format. Driving while talking and showing B roll footage :) nicely done

Thanks Emilio! I agree about the sunroof

We are in the age of "reduced functionality" for the average American. Newer = lesser.

The new Juke in Europe has only FWD but a 1,0 Liter Turbo gasoline engine with 114 PS and 7-speed Dual Clutch transmission .
@KirkKreifels3 жыл бұрын
FWD and underpowered?!
@georghillgruber60343 жыл бұрын
@@KirkKreifels The Press say it's Ok for everday , but not a masterpice in therms of Power. A Hybrid with 140 PS (from Renault) could help it in my opinion.

Crossovers? They don't handle or exceed in fuel economy like a properly designed sedan. They don't tow or go off road like a properly designed body on frame vehicle. They don't haul ppl and stuff like a properly designed van. Crossovers make no sense at all and are gaining popularity .....perfectly understandable in todays world.

Morning, Kirk! I agree in your assessment on the Kicks SR; Base and SV are the way to go. In the case of every Nissan Rogue / Xtrail and below seems like the SV IS THE ONE TO HAVE (unless it has hubcaps) since they don't offer value for what you pay going higher in the range. What the Kicks need to be "a kick in the pants" is to get a Platinum (better yet an SR) version with the Turbo from the last gen Joke (mean Juke) 😁as it had it with its' 188hp. What I would want to know is your (on any other YT reviewer for that matter) assessment on the Rogue / Xtrail with the new T-1.5L 3-pot, since figures are "hard to come by", even by Nissan themselves. I'm beginning to hear the new Ford Escape with a similar engine is getting rejected by the customers (like the T-1.0L 3-pot on the EcoSport) for the lack of "proper modulation" on its' boost which can affect fuel compsumption, particularly as the car gets used.
@OnkelPHMagee3 жыл бұрын
Does the Kicks only come in a PRNDL configuration for the CVT, or do higher models offer an ability to shift between gear-like presets?

Is Nissan going to redesign the Maxima or kill it off although I look the look of her Nissan needs to redesign it
@Blank003 жыл бұрын
Nissan still has time to decide on that. They need to introduce the redesigned Rogue Sport to the US and redesign the Murano before deciding on what to do with Maxima (and Q50 and Q60 for that matter)
@alengreen5893 жыл бұрын
I think it´s not good enough for 27k $.
