At 35 lakhs they should have added 360 degree camera ! Sensors and reverse camera are enough in real world but 360 option would have been added ! Just to save superb features are removed in Octavia ! But a very good looking car

to be honest, skoda has overdone this generation of the octy.... the mk3 octavia is my all-time favourite. Even the mk2 octavia AKA the laura looked waayyyy better than this gen. if i were to buy a skoda octavia, i would rather wait for the mk4 or get a superb. it's way better.

Your review was really good and auite inclusive of the details. I am cross shopping slavia 1.5tsi dsg and octavia style variant. I feel octavia is a better buy although its more expensive; it offers much more in terms of better transmission; quieter interiors; stronger engine ofcourse. What do you think. Slavia top model is 22lac on road Octavia style is 28.5lac on road

Hey Thanks man! I suggest you decide based on your requirements... Octy is definitely better overall, but equipment levels between Style Slavia and Style Octy would be almost same. If you need the extra space, then go with Octy (but I suggest you stretch to L&K) else, Slavia should be a good option... Let's wait for Slavia to be a available for TD, then you can make a decision👍

Can a stage 1 2019 octavia 2.0 tdi (190hp/400nm) match this? Is the new octavia 2.0 tsi faster than the last gen 1.8 tsi?

The 2.0 tdi with a remap will run rings around this car. The 2.0 tsi is faster, but not by much. The 1.8 tsi has more soup as well

I have some questions if you could help me with them, Initially I was thinking about buying the 2021 octvia l&k model for 35 lakhs, but then when you get a superb for 41, isn't it better to go for the superb even though it is not a 4th gen car, does the 3rd and 4th generation make that big of a difference. And also after that I'm comfortable with buying an suv and since superb and kodiaq fall under the same price range, and kodiaq is a 4th gen car, what should I buy, a superb or a kodiaq. So end of the day what should I buy, an octaiva, superb or a kodiaq, also are there any major differences between these when it comes to fuel economy. Hope you help me this, I'm very confused. Hi Devansh! Thank you for your kind words! Yes, Skodas pricing has literally made these 3 cars like 3 different sizes of popcorn at theatres😂 On a more serious note, it purely depends on your usage and priorities which you want. Personally, for everyday use, practicality, Features, ruggedness and occasional chauffeur driven requirements, the Kodiaq is a better option among all... Octavia for 35L, is a bit steep and the Superb will be due for replacement soon... The Superb is also just a bigger Octavia and will really benefit the chauffeur driven individual. Fuel efficiency will be lower in Kodiaq, due to extra weight and 4x4 Probably 2-3 kmpl less than Octy and Superb...

Take a test drive of all 3 and see which suits ur requirements better. All 3 suggested by you are in different sizes / segments and prices... First, I suggest you identify your priorities and requirements, then shortlist the vehicles

Which car? The Benz no way it, auto start stop was never an option on this generation The Swift yes, my car doesn’t have it, but 2022 to 2023 got idle start stop feature (not sure about the years, mine is a 2024)

How often will you use a sunroof in India? With our pollution, a sunroof is just a novelty feature, also, look at the mk3 Octy, almost all cars with the sunroof, had a rattling sound. Also, there are design constraints, due to the sloping roof. Finally, when we KZbinr's get cars from dealerships, the amount of negatives we say are strictly monitored
