The ALL NEW Civic is here and Honda has made some big changes for the new 2022. On the Outside of the Civic Sport features unique 18in wheels, LED lighting, and polished aluminum exhaust tip. On the inside you will be greeted to a thick wrapped leather steering wheel, 7in infotainment system, gauge cluster from the Accord, and cloth seating with leather bolsters. Under the hood is a 2.0L inline-4 that produces 158HP & mated to a CVT transmission. Is the 2022 Honda Civic Sport a BETTER sedan than a Mazda 3 or Corolla XSE?

I'm sorry, but NO car in this day and age should be called "sport" when it goes 0-60 in 8.5 seconds. That's outstandingly sluggish. You'd likely lose a drag race vs The ice cream man. Otherwise, it's a good reliable and economical point A to B car.

Just got a Rallye Red one yesterday and Im really enjoying it so far. Wasnt looking for a fast car and it made sense economically. I dont need crazy tech, but the car comes with enough features and the screens look great. The door sensors for the key is wild! It drives phenomenal and has a clean look. I like the interior, feels comfy and has a different design. So far I feel like I made a good choice. Had a '15 LX before and it had no problems, fan for life!

Just bought one in white. From all the civics I’ve seen and owned three 1995 Civic, 2018 Civic Si, and 2019 Civic Type r…..so far this new generation looks awesome. Basic, no need to replace the wheels or add body kits to it. Easy to drive, turns are sharp. I think Honda is listening (about time!) Everything is great. These are fun to drive and actually sporty to drive. I would suggest don’t hate unless you actually drive it and judge. Also Honda won’t lose to the Koreans because it’s Honda not Korean low reliability and low resale crap from experience. I have an Elantra GT Sport, and besides it being a hatchback and having a thousand more much needed features and amenities, it's an actual Sport model. It has an upgraded twin scroll turbo 4cyl, and a 7spd DCT, with a great sounding dual exhaust and an electronic lsd. And that's just the performance features. The amenities it has is comparable to a luxury car. Truly unlike anything else in its class, it's such a good daily. It really sucks that these manufacturers recently are calling base models with chrome blacked out a " Sport " model. All's this is is an appearance package, and honestly it doesn't even look that sporty. It's a big zonk for me. No turbo, no manual, cvt, not even foglights?? On a Sport? All cloth interior, no rear ac? There's obv only one choice in this class - the Forte GT. It has great features and the performance to back its name up. This and the Corolla XSE? Smh.

The Honda sports trims have always been a weak trim with a lot of missing features. I would personally shell out a little over 1.5k more for the EX and get a lot more bang for your buck, plus you're getting around 30hp more.

This is a nice car, but I am waiting for the hotter Si! I am hoping that the high performance models get unique interior trims to make it look a little more premium. I am surprised that they took the fog lights out of the sport trim. I actually like a good set of fog lights, mainly because you can switch to yellows for inclement weather and keep your LED headlights. Also, this may not be as agressive looking as the previous gen, but this actually a very cohesive and clean design and I really like it.

I bought a 2022 Civic Sport because it's the roomiest of the compact cars. The shoulder room is important for me since I am a bigger guy up top. My left shoulder was rubbing the B-pillar on the Corolla, and the seats in the Elantra are tight on the upper body if you are wider. The Civic is classified as a mid-size car now, you can feel a big difference. It's almost as big as my Nissan Rogue was inside.

Here's my zonks...No sunroof option on Sport trim. The Canadian version offers it. And 7 inch display is too small when other competitors offers 8 inches or 10. What Honda should've done with the Civic is make a package trim for the Sport to include some premium features. The irony is that this new Civic Sport is priced just about the same as the Elantra N-Line. But the Elantra N-Line gives you 201hp. This Civic Sport is only 158hp. And you get a sunroof, blindspot warning, and rear seat cupholders..Go Figure! But I do like the styling of this new Civic a lot. Just Honda needs to take a play book on their Korean rivals on how to package trim levels to satisfy their customers.
