I have a 2023 Corolla Design 1.8 Hybrid in the uk. I absolutely love it. And the ecvt is a dream. Brilliant car!😊😊

Thank you for your review and due to it and a few other expert opinions, you have convinced me it is going to be perfect for my needs. I love the design of the car and planning of getting the white/black ZR hybrid with nearly all the extra accessories. I went in today and saw the car in person and will now be booking in a test drive before putting down my NZ$2000 order deposit. They said it will be in approx 4 months time or a wee bit longer due to being the split color.

@@agautomotive Hi Alex. That is nice of you to say. Your presentation in the 'laid-back' manner is something us Kiwis can resonate with our Aussie cousins lol. You gave the best review I have come across with how you yourself would not mind owning one yourself with all you knowledge of cars. This made me feel assured of my decision. I just wanted to give you the feedback as to the 'why' I said what I did. Just something to make you smile - the last time I had a Carolla was in the early 90's with a DX box of a Carolla! We used to call it the 'Jaffa Car' (a NZ fav confectionary) as it had a red 'shell' and interior was the 'chocolate brown' 😆. It was a very reliable car and the only reason it was sold, was back then we were moving to the UK.

Yes I love the sleek style Toyota has done with the Corolla and I also love the 2 tone interior. Also its good on fuel so there is a lot of positives there and glad I was able to help. It makes me feel amazing being able to help people to make a big decision that they will have a vehicle for a few years and maybe more. Haha the jaffa car, That's awesome. I love the Red corolla colour they used to have and that 90's choc brown interior. I do remember those. Yes I too love Jaffa chocolate's Years ago I had an 90 model corolla hatch with an upgraded sx motor and I loved it. Yes it's a shame these things happen you have to move and the car unfortunately cannot come with you. Thanks again and let me know how it is going when you get it.

Hi, I have a Zybrid Corolla ZR but unfortunately I don't have a EV mode, and the only modes available to me is Power and Normal and not even Eco why not 😢

Hi alliedavids8215, Thanks for watching I do appreciate it and if you have a Hybrid Corolla ZR it should have an EV button there somewhere and not sure why it doesn't. You might have to talk to your local Toyota dealership and see why it doesn't have it. As for the Eco that should be that mode as well. I will do some research and let you know.

Hi Alex,Hope all is well with you mate,wow thanks for another awesome video,not a bad little car,i had no idea the corolla had a hybrid lol,i must be living in the dark ages lol,really nice interior,i love the new multi media system,and the digital cluster, i agree alex they could of made the screen wider to would of been really nice, something toyota has definitely done well there,love the body to,nice front grill,as well as the led lights,mate remember i told you about those two hire car drivers who drive teslas,haven't seen them for a few weeks,but i will definitely mention about you wanting to review a tesla,ill keep you posted on that one,thanks again mate,awesome video as always,take care,enjoy your evening,see you on the next one champion-).

Hi Carlo, Thanks for the comments. I am going well and getting stuck into more cars so some nice ones coming up. Hope your going well too mate and yes the Corolla is a great around little car and even with the hybrid just makes it that little bit more enjoyable. Yes the screen could have been bigger but at least it has finally been updated. The body styling is great and it's good to see Toyota finally coming out of its shell to create some stylish looking vehicles. Yes no worries about the Tesla's it's all good. Transmission is e-CVT there’s a big difference. Plus the seats are synthetic. Not real suede or leather
