Awesome video and what an honor to be on the media tasting panel. Great juice from this distillery but all their limited bottlings from any of their lines are priced at, or near, secondary in my area. Such a shame. I would buy a pour of the WLW.

If you could find any one at $300 you should buy just to trade. I paid way more than that for a 4 bottle bundle of wlw, pappy 15, Handy and EHT BP rye. I love all 4. Probably won’t pay 2600 again but I thought that was a good deal for all 4. Worth it one time.

I tried to pour of last year’s George T Stagg at a bar near me. I think it was 30 bucks and it was worth every penny. you do say for the average consumer you wouldn’t recommend it but I’d argue the average consumer also isn’t spending $150 on a bottle of whiskey.

@@noahkahan4364 You’re definitely right about that! I loved last years as well. I guess mean for someone getting seriously invested into whiskey but isn’t used to the high proof then I don’t think it’s for them.

@ fair point. I have been getting more deeply into Bourbon recently and in particular single barrel stuff. The high proof certainly came as I’ll kick in the pants on the first sip, but I didn’t think it’s that hot. It was really bold and the flavor is really punched me in the mouth. A bar is likely the only place I’ll ever be able to get a pour. I live in New York City, so all of these sorts of releases are marked up a cost a ton of money.
