The Escalade is the largest Cadillac available. On the outside of the sport you will find a special grill, full LED lighting and electric running boards. On the inside you will be greeted by a upscale full leather interior with 38in of OLED screen. Under the hood is a 6.2L V8 that pumps out 420HP and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Love the Caddy. I owned the DTS sedan for years and it was amazing. Impeccable to every degree, to this day I miss that car. Endless power, and never an issue with it. Took it in for regular service and treated it very well. Love your enthusiasm Joe, I can relate, I'm a gear head too. I'm nuts about anything that has power, 4 wheels and makes a noise!!!!

My experience limo driving Escalades vs. Lincoln Navigator is the Escalade always gets request for the 1st run. Navigators get the nod every run after. Simply a smoother ride...by far, IMHO.

Prior X7 owner and switched to the Escalade sport. The bmw was ok but I needed more room in the 3rd row with the seats up and down as well as more towing. This fit the bill perfectly for what I needed. I actually use it to my bass boat and ATVs when I’m away from the corporate hustle and bustle .

Exactly the reason I traded my 2022 x7 for a Grand Wagoneer L Series III. I drove the Escalade ESV and the GMC Yukon XL Ultimate Denali and the Grand Wagoneer clearly had way more power, better braking, and overall better handling. More rear cargo space than all of them and the Grand Wagoneer came with standard options the others don't even offer or you have to pay extra for.

Joe, I'm with you on that wood veneer on the door panel. They should have used an open-pore option with a shade other than brown. That is such an early 2000's look. Odd. However, I do really like that dark blue exterior color. The interior layout is also very impressive. Frankly, I've always been a fan of the Escalade. I'd take one of these any day over the BMW X7! More bang for the buck with the Escalade. Excellent!

The only Cadillac that survived it all. If only Cadillac can give us a new c8 based sports car I think that will let the auto world know they are still a legitimate luxury brand that’s seperate from the other brands and can stand on there own. I owned a 2020 Escalade luxury sport with the blacked out package. I loved everything about it but the infotainment and controls. IMO, GM makes the best SUVs but they really need some help with their user interfaces. Haven't looked at any new models but I do have a 24 Denali Ultimate and it still is "ok" compared to my BMWs. BMW has UI perfected with the control wheel.

@@briannacc3983 I owned them both. GMC has stepped up their game in the newer models with the full panoramic screen where the Cadillac had that in 21. They are really close in features, ride, and comfort. IMHO, it would come down to which one looks the best to me and what features/package set the two apart.

@@briannacc3983 I'll also add that we've owned two Yukon Denali's prior to the Escalade. They really were so close in how they drove, comfort, and options. But the Escalade had a more prestigious look, IMO. Also IMO, GM makes the best SUVs, from the Tahoe/Suburban, Yukon/XL, and the Cadillac. The big Lexus SUV felt underpowered and the tech seemed outdated. BMW has some fast SUVs that are full of tech, features, and good ride, but the looks and room is subpar. Mercedes has the best interior, but external aesthetics is very subjective, aka ugly af. I just prefer the big american v8 in an suv and GM products fit the bill. I just wish they would take a lesson from BMW on infotainment navigation.

I had the total opposite feeling. My BMWs didn’t do it for me. I had the x5 and the X7. Things like pairing my phone using the navigation etc in my bmws was crazy complicated to me. I love onstar and the WiFi connectivity in the Escalade way better.

@@Rollin3_withAP Not sure of your technical skill level, but the phone pairing and navigation is far superior in both of my BMWs (2022 850 and 2023 M340). One has idrive 7 and the other idrive 8. My wife and I both have our phones paired and it's easy to switch between the two based on who's driving so the other can control the music. The navigation and hud in the 2020 Escalade was abysmal. I've no issues with lag or me just saying "hey bmw, take me to *destination*" and it works flawless. Our 24 Denali Ultimate has had the google maps freeze multiple times on trips, forcing us to use our phones for the rest of the trip until I can reset it. That's a major problem and noted all over forums on the internet. To each his own though.

This Escalade hasn’t been updated on the outside. It looks too much like the GM cousins. It’s still cool and I would slap a blower on that 6.2L (remove the DOD), pulley and tune. You can order brembos up front. Interior wood is cheap and $112k is too high. Hire someone from Bentley to help with interior materials. Love it but just too much $. Good review

We currently own our fourth Infiniti QX 80. I’ve always felt it was the best value proposition of a full size luxury SUV one of its biggest attractions other than its styling comfort and performance and luxury appointments is its price. Of course this new Autograph edition is going to put it right in line with its competitors from Cadillac and Lincoln. It probably will be able to hold its own when compared features to features quality to quality performance performance however, being able to pull someone from another brand, their loyalty is going to be a different story. Can’t wait to see the other additions because I’ve never bought the top top top of the line QX 80 I haven’t been able to find the value in some of the 7,8 , $10,000 Packages i.e. the century package. The only thing I wanted in the century package was the air condition front seats and it wasn’t worth the six to $7000 premium just for that one feature we’ll see what they. I wish they had was a rear glass that opens when we want to take the dogs or put something really long in the car it could be helpful not that but the ones that lower down into the hatch itself.

It take the x7 x6 x5 or XM over this. They are all alot faster. Handle better. Just a better drivers car. Their interior and ambient lighting looks alot more futuristic. This interior gives off an old people vibe. Plus i think the bmws look way more sporty. Just my opinion as a 28 year old. Maybe older people will like the caddy more 🤷‍♂️

I have a few customers that have traded in their X7 and or X5m for the Escalade, as per them(customer), none of them (BMW) compete with it’s size and comfort. This is per the customer I have encountered that have traded into the Escalade.
