The NEW Mustang is here and Ford is continuing with the V8 powered GT. On the outside you will notice the Bronze Pkg, 19in wheels & Brembo calipers. On the inside you will be welcomed by a full leather interior. Under the hood is a 5.0L V8 that produces 480HP & mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. I believe you get 486 hp if you upgrade to the active exhaust. Don’t need the performance pack.

Active exhaust is gay as hell. Why not just put long tube headers on and a catback exhaust and add way more horsepower for the same price and it will sound a million times better

@basicbodybuilding ive never not changed an exhaust out on a mustang. They have the worst exhaust of any factory muscle car and the active exhaust definitely isnt worth the price when you could do headers and a cat back and it sound 10x better

The '24 Mustang GT continues to be an awesome muscle car value and in no way fake - so SWEET! That new twin throttle body 5L Coyote looks and sounds great. I'd only get the 6 speed but I'd luv to try out that retuned 10 speed auto. Having a hard time looking at the instrument panel (not really integrated with the passenger side). That rear spoiler is puny. What's also cool JR is that the glossy black trim fades to flat black in very little time:)

Nice video, speaking of the dash screens needing a housing have you saw the saleen dash? pics i saw they include a nice looking housing that goes around the screens. Curious why they dont use those in all the s650 and im sure they will be available for aftermarket soon

I'm 5'5" and I can fit in the back seat behind the passenger. There have been a few occasions when there were 3 folks needing a ride. So yes while seldom used I do like the back seat option.

Yes, I'm an old guy. Even though I now love GM (owned a 1988 Vette, 1991 ZR-1 Vette, 2011 CTS-V, and currently a 2016 Corvette Z06) when I was young, 21 years old, I bought and loved a 1988 5.0 Mustang GT with a manual. It was a great car. I'm sure the new ones are awesome today!

I'll be honest I've owned several chargers before hand and coming of those and jumping into one of these you expect to be a little looser on the tractions but dang these do grip well ... I was very impressed how much traction they make. Kool ride, still will buy the old school less tech charger but I'm old lol. all and all, ty for the review on yet another kool Gen stand.

The specs 0 to 60 an quarter mile are roughly the same as my old 2011 CTS-V and it was rated at 556 HP with a supercharger. That's impressive. Thanks for the video Joe!

My brother in law just got a 24 GT, we tested the 0-60 with TCS on 2 times. First was 4.5, second was 4.4 Next time I’ll try it with out TCS to see if we can get a lower 4

My local Ford dealership got in several new Mustangs and five are GTs so I had to go by and drive one. Only four cars are manuals, the rest are autos. I drove both and even though the 10 speed is faster I had more fun in the manual cars. After seeing the new car in person I think I still prefer the 550 body

Would buy this in a heartbeat IF they didn't screw the interior up. All I really do in a car is listen to music, change the temp, and hit the gas peddle, and maybe break lol. I'm 25 and I hate all these screens, more to break and just looks tacky. But great review as always! Maybe ill buy a mustang one day and swap out the interior

Proud of my gorgeous 2024 Mustang GT Premium Fastback, 486 HP. Black inside and out. I get "thumbs up" and constant comments "I love your car!" I have two cars because the Mustang will go into storage for winter. Don't miss a moonroof; have it on my 4Runner. I cherished my Supra years ago, but I love this Mustang❤. Both of my cars are black; not a fan of white although they are attractive because they show the squashed bugs from the freeway in Minnesota summers.

That new mustang is beautiful! I saw one on the road and had to follow it. The lines are unmistakably Mustang but they’re so much better, more organic curves, just a cool looking design. I love it. Wish the Camaro would have been developed into a new design. So many cool cars, SUVs and trucks out there now. 👍 Good review.

About time ford upgraded the mustangs Interior. For me a big factor when choosing a vehicle is the interiors. I always liked mustangs but I hated it’s interior design. Dodge and Chevy were definitely doing the interiors better on the challengers & cameros but NOW! This mustang made me fall in love with mustangs 100% not just 80%. (I’d say at least 20% of thought process goes to the Interior when considering a new vehicle, right?)

Just bought one - GT Performance Convertible. And for the record, the Perf Pack is still 480HP. The extra 6 ponies comes with the active exhaust system, which is NOT included with the performance option.

I agree. Other than that I test drove GT Premium automatic and loved it. I believe if u order this car loaded down that would be enough. I thought about Dark Horse but why pay so much more for little more HP. I'm 61 now and this GT Premium has plenty of HP for me.

Agree. 275 35 woulbe my choice. I have a2010 GT converible with bolt ons and Coilover suspesion. But get this. 20 inc wheels with 265R35 front tires and 285R30 rear tires. And they fit purfect. Even with a 3 inch drop due to coiloverss, no rubbing anny where, even at full turning on front wheel wells. Looks crazy low, but still same hieght front and rear.

In 1963 FOMOCO changed the name of Corinthian White to Wimbledon White. Incorrectly re-painted 1965+ Shelby GT350/350R will be Oxford White and it's a very noticeable difference from original Wimbledon. WW was also on Custom 300, Custom 500, Galaxie, T-Bird

Nice review 👍🏻 However, as the owner of a 2017 GT Premium, I was not impressed with the new design when I saw it in person. The rear diffuser/fascia was the most unattractive part, in my opinion. Far too much black plastic. Not a good look. I like that the interior is better quality with more technology, though.

As someone who owned a 2022 3.0 Toyota Supra sold it a few months ago yes it was fast but got bord of the auto and the interior was boring to me. Now I have a 2024 Mustang GT Manual and comparing them both I love the Mustang more. Mite not be as fast as my Supra but I feel more control of the car and connected to the car and that new interior is amazing at lest to me.

Its beautiful, but I think Ford missed out on the Bronze potential. They should have done the trims inside and stitching on the seats in bronze as well. That would have set this model apart from all others and ties the exterior and interior together.
