I'd imagine it's a combo of both companies. I don't work for/with VMP, so idk what all they did with it, but I imagine that they could've changed/tweaked some of the dimensions or other parameters of the rotors/screws, casing, throttle body elbow, intercooler, etc. to fit how they wanted it to perform, instead of just going with whatever Whipple's stock blower does straight from the factory.

I'd say 90% of the units sold under the various brands (Corsair, NZXT, Lian Li, etc.) all use an Asetek pump block "core" unit for their AIOs, but they have their own radiators and fans that they attach to the Asetek unit. @TonyTheTruckGuy7 ай бұрын
The problems come soon. The reason they say the S650 sucks is because compared to the S550, it's heavier, costs more, and isn't open yet for custom tuning, only Whipple tune because they have access through Ford. They also say it's on 93 octane, but it's actually 93 octane with octane booster, which allows for more timing/boost/power. Problem is, octane booster isn't cheap, and with frequent/prolonged use, it will can damage the plugs, O2 sensors, and cats. Stock cats can't hold this kind of power long, and a failed cat can cause a failed engine. There's unfortunately a hand full of similar stories. On regular 93 pump gas, the car would make closer to 650-700 whp and run a 10.5ish. Still respectable, but not the 810hp/9.999 car the claim to be since they omit the use of octane booster and the negative effects of using it.

Not boosted from factory. No injectors. No catless LTH. No meth. Block still factory sealed. Stock driveline. Just a Whipple Gen 6 3L supercharger kit adding like 350RWHP😂 ON 93 OCTANE🤧🔥🔥. Yeeeaaa idgaf what engine you put next to this. This is better‼️🤣

Get a Lund tune asap, I don’t recommend the GT manifold unless you don’t care about the TQ. But I miss the TQ cuz you feel the torque more downlow and the HP you gain up top with the GT manifold. Just go intake, 4inch catback, Lund tune, you’ll shift better as well.
@TwinTurboLsx11 ай бұрын
@@carlife_710 GT manifold is the fastest common Intake besides the gt350. I lost a small amount on 60ft but gained 5mph. It def made my truck faster. 12.1 at 116. Stock intake was 12.5 at 108. Notice a little driving around but the little bit of trade off is worth it.

The GT manifold pulls the whole way up tho for sure as to where the truck stops at 6500 rpm. But yes tune for sure needed due to stock tranny tune sucking ass

David, its not 810RWHP on 93 octane premium gas.... It was 810RWHP (standard corrected NOT SAE corrected) on BOOSTANE There is a trend going on lately that needs to stop, these sellers claiming big HP numbers on 93, but you have to read the fine print to find out they used OCTANE BOOSTER. Go ahead rag out your "810RWHP" Coyote on 93 octane, and see how many runs you get in before it pops while your knock sensors are crying for help.

people think the knock sensors will save them. They have to sense knock to prevent knock and any detonation is killing the motor over time.

His whole point was it made that much power with basically one mod, the blower. Adding octane booster to your fuel is not a mod so I think the main focus of the topic went right over your head. It wasn’t a build breakdown but rather just showing how easily this chassis makes and handles power nowadays
@TwinTurboLsx11 ай бұрын
@@Emanuel_Zorg no it went over you’re head. I know you’re probably not in the ford performance community… but they’re selling this as a 800+ rwhp system on pump gas which isn’t right. They’re extremely octane limited and people who buy this thinking they’re going to get this power on 93 are going to be disappointed. Because it will be about 100 hp less.

Great looking car and blower package, as well as interior, but just to be clear, that 810 WHP and 9.999 pass were with octane booster. With frequent or prolonged octane booster use, O2 sensors, plugs, and cats are going to say bye bye really quick at that power level and then the engine itself will say goodnight. Anyone looking at this blower package on an S650 should realistically expect more like 650-700 wheel on true 93 octane. I'd strongly urge to get high flow cats and a VENTED catch can as well. Your pistons will thank you.

@@TonyTheTruckGuyso your cats are pretty reliable at that power levels yet they are still the weakest link. If you make back to back to back passes over and over with no cool down then yes you will destroy them and the engine. But that’s an extreme scenario, all you really gotta do is a cat delete which most people do anyway. Me and many many other people have been making 800whp for quite some time with zero issues. I run mostly e85 which helps a lot with cooling
@TonyTheTruckGuyАй бұрын
@@thedragon356 LOL, all I’m hearing is a long winded list of excuses to temporarily get around the fact that I’m 100% right. There are STOCK, stage 1 Roush, 650 crank HP kits being installed AT Ford dealers, and the cats melt after a few hard back to back pulls. Well documented. In fact, a guy I know on another page has gone through 2 engines and 3 cats. The only way the car is living above those levels for long is removing cats, which not everyone can, nor wants to do. My entire point is that there are critical caveats like that being left out when people just spout off these numbers. That and the fact it needs octane booster to hit the higher number claims like VMP touts, and there’s still no custom tuning available anywhere on the horizon. S550 cars are superior for this reason and being lighter. None of this is an “extreme scenario”, because you and I both know the owner is going to be flogging it. Even a few back to back street pulls can melt cats. You can only dump fuel in cat protection mode for so long.
@thedragon356Ай бұрын
@@TonyTheTruckGuyant nobody reading all that bro, your cats are good and will last a long time Shelby f150s use the same stock cats. It’s only if you wanna make back to back passes while racing without letting them cool off. Let them cool off and they’ll be fine. @TwinTurboLsx I'm a bigger guy. I've been in a challenger, and it offers me a better leg room. I also love the chop of a cammed hemi. I don't believe the Mustang does justice to what a "muscle car" is supposed to look like. To me, the dodge is the only one that's been able to replicate that old-school aesthetic if that makes sense. Don't get me wrong. I've seen what mustangs and F-150s can do, but they're just not for me.
