The Ranger Raptor is ALL NEW and Ford had brought performance for 2024. Under the hood is a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 that is producing 400HP & is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. On the outside you will notice and aggressive style, 33in off-road tires, special graphics and active-valve exhaust. For less than 60000, you get a fantastic engine, high quality interior materials, and great seats. Even a nice bedliner is included. The graphics are gorgeous, as well as the color combos. This is a vehicle I wouldn't mind making payments on!

Lucky if you get this truck for under 60k. I know a lot of dealerships are doing 10k or more on mark up.plus your car sales tax if your state has any. I was quoted 80k out the door at one dealership and 75k at another.

My local favorite ford dealership just ordered one for me today. I got the hot pepper red color as that will match the interior perfectly. I also think the graphics make the truck look tacky so i removed that $750 option so it will just say raptor on the sides. My order is a no obligation order, they did not make me put a deposit down at all with everything done through email or phone. If I don't want it when it comes in they will likely sell it immediately so its a win-win no risk for all. The best part about it though is NO MARKUP! price is invoice plain and simple. Everywhere else around me wants at least $10K markup on these. Plus my dealer has ZERO dealer doc fees! The biggest zonk i have is the no ventilated seats and no moon/sun roof. But the price point for the segment is hands down the best. Tacoma TRD pro will be at least $10K more at MSRP then add a 5-10K markup on top of that. No thanks...for a 4 cyl twin turbo hybrid? But hey at least you get a cool gimmicky seat! The other problem I have is that i would potentially be trading in my 2023 F150 Raptor (if i go through with it of course). But the Ranger Raptor fits my lifestyle a bit more right now. Anyone else out there go from a F150 Raptor to a Ranger Raptor? I'd be interest to hear how that has gone for you. Also comfort might be an issue for me as i am 6'3" normal build dude. It seems everyone reviewing these things is exactly 6' every time. Anyone else taller than 6' out there that can tell me there will be no issue? BTW i don't care if there will be no room for a passenger behind the drivers side. Only being in the back will be my dog. 2024 Tacoma off road owner here! I love my truck! Love the Raptor looks and sounds as well. I totally zonk the antenna as well this is 2024! And I prefer just Raptor and not all the graphics. Not crazy about the range on any of these mid sized trucks on a tank of gas.

Great review! But you missed something: The narrow tray in front of the cup holders is actually for french fries. If you look in the bottom of the tray there's a french fry symbol. Easter egg :) Also the rear window is electric, not manual.

I like that Ford remembered that the back seat needs to fit people. The new Tacoma and Colorado are really 2 door trucks, with seating for midgets in the back. The Ranger fits 2 adults, plus it's cleaver holders for pita and humus? Goes together like PB&J.😂

It's awesome, was jumping mine on my offroad track over the past 2 weeks. It jumps smoother than my bronco raptor, grip is awesome in the sand/trails. Only downside was some debris can unplug the rear suspension sensors, so we made plates to fix it (deflectors) Already have performance upgrades from process west on mine, looking forward to make it run 11's :)

It's not nuts at all. This isn't a luxury vehicle, and look at everything else you get for the price. Midsize trucks are basically the same dimensions as what full size trucks used to be 15-20 years ago. Add inflation into the mix, $60k isn't far off the mark at all.

The global Ranger Raptor uses a 3.0 Powerboost Turbodiesel V6 that used to be an F-150 option in the US. Used to be as it was discontinued in the US. The US Ranger Raptor uses the 3.5 Ecoboost V6 that we have seen on Ford vehicles. Huge difference in price and performance between the two.

How is the hood length on the Ford in comparison to the Tacoma? I know its harder to off-road with the Tacoma with the hood being so long and the cameras are okay.
