Not only is this new Ranger more expensive for a nicely equipped pickup but you forgot to mention that they did away with the extended cab model and that’s too bad. Not everyone needs a four door pickup. I would rather have the extended cab with the longer bed for my everyday needs. So this is another pickup that’s been taken off my list.

Missed CON is that the Raptor, with rear coil springs has 2,000 pounds LESS towing capacity and that makes it pretty wimpy. Which is why I sit here waiting for the V6 on a Lariat. My estimations suggest a loaded Lariat V6 at about $3000-$4000 less than the Raptor. Price is high. But not as high as a similar SUV alternative, where over $60,000 is common.

expensive for what you get, no one near me even carries them, the dealerships need to come back down to earth with their pricing. the middle class, the people who make this country are being priced out. I make very good money and I can't even think about buying a new vehicle. 600$ a month. that is Insanity. That is the low end of the market.

To those of use in the software business and other higher paying jobs, it's a comfortable price. In my case, driving a Grand Cherokee Laredo X with about $35,000 trade in value, while I wait for the V6.

@@healingenso7923 Like I said, I make very good money, I would rather keep that money in investments making more money, than giving 600, 800, 900 a month for a car payment, something that devalues the moment you leave the lot. A car/truck is not an investment, ie it loses money daily.
