Yukon is GMC's full size SUV and they have a new top luxury trim called the Denali Ultimate. On the outside you will discover a new paint color, 22in wheels, unique grill and automatic running boards. On the inside you will be greeted by a ton of leather, massage seats and panoramic roof. We have a 2024 Denali Ultimate. It's black but in the sun looks dark purple. It's beautiful. Everything he said is true. It floats down the road and will pass anything... it's so powerful. We LOVE it.

Enjoyed your review. 3 months ago, I bought the Denali XL Ultimate. I have loved these big GM SUV’s and wanted another one. The last one I had was an Escalade, loved it, but the new one is just”over the top “. Too much blacked out trim, too much electronic flash and touch screen, etc. It lost functionality for “look at me style “. The Denali Ultimate is so tasteful, with sensible controls and identical content and $10-15k less. I also got the diesel, it feels plenty powerful, very quiet (invisible) and has averaged 21.5 around town, 26mpg at 75+ on the interstate! I can’t believe this enormous luxury beast is one of the most economical vehicles I have ever owned! This is really an amazing modern vehicle.

Just traded off my ‘21 Yukon Denali for the ‘24 Denali Ultimate… luv the upgrades on the electronics, air ride, magnetic ride and Super Cruise. You can swap out the name badges for black ones for a reasonable price. Really dig the Vader Chrome grill. I liked the Escalade but prefer the interior of the Denali over the Cadillac. All hard buttons better than burying functions in the infotainment screen. Love the super cruise!

I am a big sports fan the interior reminds me kinda like a baseball glove brown :) I do love the Vader chrome! Super cruise is awesome! Only thing I haven’t used or trust is the self parking….. not sure I trust that.

If there’s one “zoink” I wish you focused on would be what major, if at all, differences would be from previous year to current. It's funny to me how automotive paint colors seem to run in cycles. Back in 1972 my Dad bought a new Ford LTD in this minty green metallic color, which was quite popular back then, but hasn't been seen for quite some time. It seems like at least the last decade, or even longer, has been dominated by black, white, grey, and silver, with very few other colors featured. It's nice to see something "fresh" and different!

By the way, the lower grill ventilation it’s easy to be opened all it has just cover from inside. You can take it off. That’s what I did with my escalate for extra ventilation.

Love this SUV .. took it on 2600 miles road trip Miami to Wash DC, 10 hour stints behind the wheel no problem …. As if sitting on my living room lounger. can’t say that for any of my 5 BMWS where I get seat bottom cramps on halfway Miami to Naples, FL. I averaged 18 MPG IF IF IF I go easy feathering the throttle. Not much fun on the twisties ..

Nothing beats the Cadillac. That’s why there is a saying that goes….. “It’s the Cadillac of all _______” and you fill in the blank with the item that is considered to be the best. Example…. This is the Cadillac of all cooking grills. You don’t hear….Thats the GMC of all cooking grills. With that being said….we just bought the 2024 Denali…..we love it. Only thing is, we get a rough sounding start up, but warms up and it goes away. I wish the salesperson showed us more of the items on the dashboard…..but it’s also fun to figure out new things every time you drive. I love the windshield heads up display of what the speed limit of the road you’re driving on is.

Hard to decide.My only gripe is others lately been speaking about reliability which come short, and some others been going turning to a reliable Toyota Sequoia.if only there was more review on performance reliability. My current Tahoe needed a new motor after the lifters on the AFM cylinders failed. The 6.2 and the 5.3 both have the same issue. I am leaning towards the Duramax because of this, but all the emissions controls on the Duramax are not good for the motor.

Have the 2023 model. Great vehicle, but I absolutely despise the monitor in these. It's always bothered me, so I'm happy to hear the 2025 model finally upgrades this issue. Looking forward to the 2025+ model!
