Is the 2024 Tesla Cybertruck WORTH the price or OVERRATED?

FIRST LOOK: We finally tracked down the Cybertruck which is all new for 2024. On the outside you will find it's unique shaped stainless steel body, 20in wheels and power bedcover. On the inside you will be greeted by a minimalistic interior with a large infotainment screen. Powering the Cybertruck are (2) electric motors producing 60oHP.

Right now I'm at the 2024 Chicago International Auto Show for the 2-day press event. I'm shooting reviews for the Vehicle Visionary KZbin channel. While I was working on a video this morning I saw Mr. Raiti walking by and I stopped him, introduced myself and asked him to take a picture with me. He was SO gracious and polite to me and took the picture, and even though I was interrupting him he took the time to chat with me for a couple minutes. You could plug in an oven and electric grill to that NEMA 15-40R 240V electrical outlet in the bed, if you want! Refrigerator/freezers too, no problem. Great trend in EV trucks, those electrical outlets. Ramcharger will have best of both worlds with the Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine, too.

They always start out high price cause tesla is trying to make profits not lose money and manufacturing always starts out more expensive until production ramps up. It's a good start for an ev truck and I'm sure many improvement are coming over the next couple years. The drive by wire is the best part of it. Hope you get to test drive one and take it offroad. I saw two of these out in California, one wrapped in matte black and another in matte green and matte black. It looked incredible. Hope one day Tesla will offer at the very least a black cybertruck.

Tbh the wraps are the only way I'd ever own one... there's no clear coat on the stainless steel, it's notoriously bad at resisting oils and bird droppings.

The folks at throttle house, Thomas and James, were not fans of it. They completed a thorough review and even drove it for a thousands miles - visibility is extremely poor, the interior lacks quality and has numerous rattles and creeks. The ride quality is also terrible. Moreover, the sharp edges raise safety concerns. Not surprising. It is a Tesla.

The ford raptor has 700 horsepower , the ram 1500 has 540 horsepower hell even a dam ford ranger is pushing almost 500 horsepower now 🤣it’s not uncommon dude you living in the 1970s still 😂

So I’m not hating on Tesla but personally I’m not a fan of their cars only for the fact that if you try to fix your car, no shop or mechanic is going to know what they’re doing same goes with the cyber truck. I love the way it looks exterior/ interior but my issue is finding a shop where I live that even services for electric cars

This is cool until you need to use it as a functional truck and not a gimmick status symbol. Just be sure to not take it off road, tow, take long trips, expect any resale value after the battery dies, or try to charge it in the cold weather and you'll be fine. It is almost the same as a disposable camera but for $100,000!
