I must say, I love that they kept on brand for the component shapes. It makes me so happy, I know…silly things to care about🤣

I love that you did side-by-side before-and-afters! So many people don’t and I end up trying to wind back and forward to compare. It must add a lot of editing work, but it’s SO useful. Thank you!

I never tire of your wonderfully thorough and discerning reviews Tom! I am enjoying learning more about how certain kinds of formulas behave by listening to how they are different on your skin and mine. This one and the Mario work quite well for me - I am 48 with dry maturing skin and I think I just drink up whatever it is that goes wet for you, my face celebrates 😊. The olive shade I have LM2 is also pretty well done, leaning only slightly warm, it matches nicely without going ashy on me, but I think it could be too warm for a neutral to cool olive complexion. I have been enjoying it with a little dusting of finishing powder which does help it feel more set for the day. 💚✨

Just to add my experience with this, for those watching thisband wondering: I am 40 with combo sensitive skin. I have some mild texture on my cheeks, but nothing crazy. I like this foundation for daily wear at this point after having it since it launched. It works best for me with lightweight moisture prep and no primer. I tested it with multiple primers and it lasts and performs best with just skincare underneath. I wear this for light coverage and it doesn't take a lot to achieve that. It ends up with a satin finish for me, not too shiny. I hope this helps anyone! :)

I love the olive shades. As an oily person, I did well combining this foundation with the new Danessa Myricks yummy skin mattifying water powder serum.

I really want Hannah to try the fair olive to see if it's desaturated enough.

Same! I am right now deciding to take the plunge on it since I am almost out of Rose Inc LX010 and it's out of stock at Sephora.

@emmafoley8987 I would try it but I'm in Canada so it's harder and more expensive to get here. Also no returns 😢

I've been really happy with the L2 Olive shade as someone who is a skin twin plus green - it's one of the only shades that works for me without green color corrector. I loved how in depth this review was and would have totally sold me on this if I didn't get it because of Kackie already. The things that make it not work for you are all the things that make it work for me 😅Thanks for all the work you put into this even though the foundation has been out for a bit!

I wear this in MD3 Cool and I must say as an oily skinned person this review is really informative. Like it is helpful in making understand why this works the way it does. I put this on and it's really natural on me, but regardless of how much powder I use I am glowing by the end of the day. I wear make up about 8 hours a day 5 days a week, and it's been pretty consistent. However despite that I've still like how light it feels and how tenacious it is. The glow doesn't even bother me all that much, it really been my vibe lately. I probably would've thought twice if I saw you review first, but I'm really happy I have it anyway. Thanks so much for the review.

1.08 is almost 32ml. Perhaps the volume is related to the metric size. I also think a little more than an ounce seems like you are getting a bonus volume. I really liked this format. So well executed too.

Thanks so much for your thoughts! I was definitely intrigued by this foundation but mostly because it's $22. I do not need more complexion in my life atm but maybe in the future..

Thank you for your review. I always appreciate hearing your thoughts and how thorough you are. I'm 58 and I have normal to dry skin. I'm also fair olive. It can be really hard to find a good shade match. I got the shade F2O and it is an excellent match for me. I usually apply foundations with a sponge. I didn't realize until you and Collin mentioned that a sponge gives a dewier finish. That's probably why I prefer that method lol. This foundation does work really nicely for me. I'll check out the friends you have linked below

Thanks for the review! This foundation had intrigued me, but as I’m also on the oily side this helps me let the temptation pass 😄

Humectants also can act to hold water in the skin to keep it from evaporating from the skin surface.

I am a very dry girl, and I have been wearing this foundation for a few weeks. I wear it for 14 hours (I am a teacher and work long hours) and I touch up once because I need to spray Tower 21 SOS to add moisture to my skin. It works well for me.

Looking for (exhaustively) a neutral pink to warm pink cream lipstick in the bullet that is the everyday lip. Under 45 bucks. GOD help me, or maybe I should say TOM help me. I’m a you and Kackie tone twin, but 30 years older.

it would be helpful to see like a matrix/graph of viewership interest by personal interest and see where makeup products land, like how you were trying to explain at the beginning

I don't wear foundation, but this one looks beautiful on you. I cannot handle the letterspacing in their logo... I'm a graphic designer who loves playing with design, but I cannot abide by that tragic logo! 😵❌️⛔️

Such a great video!!! I have oily skin and I’ve been loving this foundation, but I can TOTALLY see why you don’t. It’s also not as wet on me personally! F2 Olive is a great undertone for me, albeit a touch deep, so I added some white foundation mixer directly into my bottle once I knew the formulas played well together when mixed.

Ingredients wise I'm always interested in finding out if it's water, silicone or oil based. So I know if it will vibe with my primer and other base products.

This is the first foundation I've bought in forever and I enjoy it (got it based on Kackie's review). I'm not oily and that's helpful for me. Also, based on our shades for this one we are skin twins!
