Excellent video - well filmed and commentary is articulate and passionate - sums up why I’ve enjoyed mine for nearly 5 years now (with no plans to change)! There is literally no car being made currently that I’d swap it for. Mine was built before the sound muffling OPFs were mandatory, and pre EU-mandated nanny aids, it’s literally the last of a generation (akin to Clarkson’s comments on the previous generation Vantage). Sadly, it’s all downhill from here……..

Aston Martin kinda dropped the ball with their designs in recent years. They're still pretty things but nowhere near that timeless elegance of Astons from 10 to 15 years ago.

@@GoksCarLounge Dunno about Merc and Ferrari, they had a few banger designs the past couple years... (AMG GT, the Roma) But BMW definitely lost the plot. Those guys jumped off a cliff. I have no idea what's going on in that design department. I'm a designer myself (though not in the automotive industry) and I find the development of BMW truly shocking. Used to be the designer brand among the "regular car brands" (excluding stuff like Aston, Ferrari etc.)... When I was at university pretty much every professor drove a BMW. That was 18 years ago. I don't think anyone who's into design is driving a BMW right now...
