What Aston was it? I think since the partnership with AMG the quality and reliability of "new" Aston's is night and day compared to how it was.

Love this content. The F1 Edition doesn't get enough love. Strangely I've ordered an F1 edition vantage and subsequently cancelled the orders twice. It would of made a great partner to my 707 but now I'm waiting out the new updated DB12 and newer vantage.

Awesome just subscribed. As a fellow owner of a satin black f1, I was happy to see the velocity AP exhaust tips installed. Second to the unfavorable dinosaur infotainment system On the vehicle and I’m glad I get to see what my tips will look like. Whoever I didn’t get the exhaust but just the tips due to the fact I think the car sounds amazing. I wish the HP output from factory was in the AMg GTc territory of 550 or greater. But can’t complain with how beautiful the body is!

Amazing, I'm glad you like the video. I personally just didn't like the sound of the car from stock vs a non-f1 vantage from 2019 etc which is why I went for it, but you will not be disappointed with the tips. If you're upset with the HP output, the velocity AP tune take you to 590.

Sounds epic! but I’m just guessing you didn’t worry about loss of Aston warranty? I’m about to collect one but have to say the sound since the fitting of OPF is a little disappointing and without deleting it changing back box doesn’t make a lot of difference.

So the chat I had with the Aston was that it doesn't void your warranty completely, it's only if Aston think the fault with your car is related to your modifications. I.e if you change the exhaust and get an electrical problem you're still covered under warranty etc. Plus if I did develop an expensive fault I'd just take the exhaust off before taking it into the garage.

Sorry to ask another question. With removing OPF and secondary cats you have to do a retune (which you have obviously done), what happens when it goes in for service? Do you lose your tune set up or have they agreed to leave it? Thanks Andy.

@@andysampson4769 so for mine I've left the cat in, it's just the OPF removed and back box change. Didn't have any issues with the car when it went in for a service 👌

Weirdly enough I prefer the 2019+ front end but that green color and interior spec is amazing. Currently researching 2020 Vantage vs VS 2020 AMG GTC coupe.... I need a new car for the summer weather here in the US

So I went from an AMG GTR Roadster to a Vantage F1 Roadster. My thoughts: GTR a little faster and better interior (especially all the tech) but F1 feels smaller and as such more chuckable, to my eyes much better looking and feels more special.

I couldn't say. I'd highly recommend going to the David Appleby Engineering website and choosing what you want for your budget.

I’ve also just bought an F1 Roadster. Sound is disappointing so I’ve decided to start with GPF delete pipes from David Appleby Engineering. Once they’re fitted I’ll leave a comment.

@@andysampson4769 can't recommend it more. The guys there do an amazing job. I've not seen a video on the stock exhaust just with the delete pipes so would be really interested in seeing how it sounds when you get it.

So GPF delete pipes now fitted and what a difference. In general driving it is a little louder but the pops and bangs on downshifts are completely different. There is also now a little fart on upshifts. I thought that this would just be the start of my exhaust mods but it really may be just enough, early days so time will tell.
