When it comes to the eq, you always use your ears, not your eyes. But the Wing eq section does have an RTA for those that want the visual. I believe you go up to "tools" to turn on the RTA.

Oh for sure, I don’t think anyone meant to exclude listening when eq’ing. The visual is just a helpful addition. And yeah we figured that out today 🤦🏼‍♂️ never thought to look for an on/off switch for that haha

For the mention of not seeing the sound bars when EQing, that can be turned on in settings. touch the cog wheel when EQ screen is up. You can adjust RTA settings there. RTA Ovl or Overlay is what you want. Color can be adjusted to preference.

Thank you for this. You and your volunteers mirror our experience. Your growth through Presonus to the X32 also is exactly the same as ours. I do find it strange that some pro users think this board is volunteer unfriendly - that is completely the opposite of our experience. All of our existing volunteers transitioned more smoothly than I expected and I have one person now mixing who started from scratch on the Wing. The only thing that was volunteer unfriendly was my tendency to over-complicate things when I explain them 😆

We just got the Wing. It was and is scary to start with but getting more comfortable as time goes on. We are all Volunteers with no sound engineer so a bit more challenging. Blessings from cold Miami Florida 😊

The biggest thing to learn is how route channels and inputs. Learn how to create effect busses . they do not come preset like the x 32. Setting up custom layers will help your work flow and you can create a set of "hot channels" on the 4 faders on the right in one of the user layers.

I'm working on a "movie trailer" (air quotes, because it's for a movie that will intentionally never be made). I really liked your volunteer names bit and I was thinking about something like that for my "starring" bit. Can you point me in a good direction for how to do something like that? It's either really-creative editing or a cool plugin (or a mixture of both).

I think I got that from Motion Array! It was a template, but still takes a lot of customizing to make work
