I had the BENQ 1080st for the last 6 years waiting on this bad boy. So much better and way better picture than some other competitors that cost more. A good screen makes a huge difference as well.

Hi there. I bought this projector BenQ TK710STI because you made a very good review on it! Which distance from the screen? My Screen is 3 meter x 3 meter and it ist impossible to get a correct picture... Everything is manuel...on my old cheap projector I had an auto focus... What would you recommend for my screen? Thanks

I don't really get why the image for comparison Is different for each projector. What's the reason of a comparison if you can't compare similar images on different projectors? Your preview pattern shows different colors and different line patterns on each..

@@CarlsPlace at 1:10 there is a comparison with the previous model, best way to do that is to show same image on both projectors, and not splitting one image between them. That way we can see how same color and same pattern looks on both. You do the same comparison at 6:45 with a monitor

I am looking for a recommendation. I have around $2000 to spend on a projector for my garage SIM build. Screen width 116 inches. 4:3 image. Hitting mat 9.5’ from screen. Looking for best bang for the buck for image sharpness & brightness. The tk710sti is appealing since it’s 4k. Will. Be running gspro with i9 4080super graphics card. Ceiling mount. Do you know if you can adjust the aspect ratio in the graphics card to 1:1 for an 8ft x 8ft screen without distortion, or should I go for a golf specific projector like the LH600st or AH700ST, which have screen fill? Unfortunately though they are not 4K.

I'm looking for a projector that will be mounted roughly 18-19 feet away from the screen and the screen is going to be 213 inches wide and 105 inches tall. Would this one work?
@CarlsPlace3 ай бұрын
Hey Joe! Our screen size calculator would be perfect for this scenario. Check it out here: www.carlofet.com/screen-size-calculator From the information you provided, it seems as though your screen will be wider than a 16:9 ratio. But if you stick with the 16:9 aspect ratio and want to fill the height of the screen, the projector will need to be placed 11'9" away from the screen (but there will be blank screen space on the sides of the image). If you want to fill the width, it needs to be 13'5" away from the screen, but your projected image will spill over the top and bottom of the viewable screen. You could try out making a custom resolution using our tips in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5ezhISVgN98lcU If you have more questions, reach out to our experts on our customer service team here: www.carlofet.com/contact

Per BenQ's website, it sounds like it would work for your system: "Additionally, eARC enables 7.1-channel and Dolby Atmos audio to transmit unaltered full-resolution signals to your sound system through a single HDMI cable"

@carlsplace I contacted BenQ customer support, and they said this: Regarding the TK710 and TK710STi display size and distance concerns. It should be the lens limitations. More details explanation as below. Thanks ~ Insufficient Focal Length: In average or telephoto mode, the lens’s focal length may not be sufficient to magnify the image to a 120-inch size or more, resulting in a blurry image or an inability to fully fill the screen. Aperture Limitations: In average or telephoto mode, the aperture may be smaller, leading to reduced light intake which decreases image brightness and may make it difficult to see, especially in dimly lit environments. Regards, BenQ Service

@@flyingsparrow2447 Let me get with the product team, the manual may need to be updated since this was originally aimed at home theater. I've seen it myself (and the fine folks at Carl's Place have as well) at sizes much larger than 120" and it focuses very well. I believe in this video, the image is 9-10' tall and they have good clarity at that size.
