Very good discussion. The Bible is sometimes like medicine. You don't take medicine because it's sweet but because you know the value. The Bible has all sorts of literature... adventure, history, poetry, war, etc. At least one can find something to enjoy. It is the only Book that is alive and relevant in every generation, race, and time. There is something for everybody ..kids, young, old, kings, slaves, professionals, etc. It is the only Book that addresses all topics and issues in life. Name any topic and it's in the Bible. Look at the introduction in the small Gedions Bible as well. It has a powerful introduction.

great discourse and very valid questions.........but as for me, The Bible, which is God's very Word, is quite interesting and should not be boring whatsoever to a believer; whoever is of God hears God's Word; and therefore one may not hear because they are not of God(John 8:47)🤔. "The beauty about God's Word is that it's always backed up by the Holy Spirit, and without the Holy Spirit you end reading empty words. So before you pick the Bible to read or study God's Word first of all invite the Holy Spirit of God to assist you"-Gordon Aaron-Grasping God's Word. I believe this "reading empty words" is what makes Bible reading seemingly boring.... but we have a helper......
